Dr.slaughter is a awesome vet he loves his job and cares for your pet as if it was his own I would recommend him to anyone

He took x-rays of my dog and wanted to do exploratory surgery. I took the x-rays and had a second opinion and that vet said it was a gas bubble and she didn't need surgery. Another pet I had he diagnosed with cancer and we had to put her to sleep. He then charged me $980.00 for it, and now I wonder if the dog really had cancer or he needed the money.

I recently worked at this place of business. I'm a well educated and very hard and devoted employee, in most cases. Although I only worked for Dr. Slaughter for a short period of time, I was not impressed and almost offended by most every experience I had there. As a vet, He reuses supplies that should not be reused, such as fecal wands. As an employer, well, let's just say we had a meeting every single morning while I was there which mainly consisted of him throwing idol threats at all the employees about random tasks and subjects. One employee, Miranda, was probably one of the most rude, incompetent people I have ever met. As a vet, I can not give a rating or recommendation on Dr. Slaughter because i do not really have experience with him as a vet, other than the one day that i spent shadowing a tech. As an employer, I can say that the turn over rate in this clinic is extremely high and with good reason.
