Our cat was found, after 8 weeks, on the verge of death from starvation and dehydration. The doctor and staff kept us fully informed of her condition, needs, and progress throughout her recovery period. Their true concern for, and commitment to Smokey was outstanding. Due to their efforts, Smokey survived and regained her health. They facilitated Smokey's return to us in Ontario. The fees submitted covered only a portion of the real care given Smokey. We have no doubt that had Smokey ended up anywhere else than in the hands of the South Peace SPCA and especially the staff of the South Peace Animal Hospital, she would have been written off as a terminal case. We have often wished, since Smokey's return, that we had, locally, a source of care like the South Peace Animal Hospital and its staff.

Dr Trevor and Trish Reeves are both wonderful caring vets, they are in this business for the animals. When having to put our dog to sleep they were both compassionate and caring, understanding how much these animals mean to their owners. Always a friendly staff and positive attitude in their clinic.

Dr. Reeves has always been a very thorough and professional vet. He gives you the facts, works with you for treatment options and is not completely opposed to alternative treatments though he doesn't advocate them completely. In the one emergency situation I had with my dog he was absolutely brilliant, allowing me to be in the room and showing me what he was doing and why. He had no problem teaching me how to intubate my dog to help deal with bloat and has been more than helpful with any questions that I have had. His staff is polite, organized and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone living in the Peace Region.
