Dr. Diane Balich doesn't have a vet tech. She tries to train her receptionist, bookkeeper to function as a vet tech. This does not work. I used her before when this didn't present a problem with the reason for my visit; however, I just had 2 six month old kittens spayed and it did matter. The girls came home with a large, ragged edged area shaved, with razor burn and cuts. The fur around the edges was stiff with something bright pink, not the yellow of the familiar Betadine. The girls have licked themselves raw and pulled out their fur, trying to clean this up. I was forced to bathe these already upset cats 6 days after surgery. What else did she leave the untrained receptionist to do? She is also unbending and aggravating over things you're unable to afford, bringing them up each time she sees you. I don't do guilt, but I won't continue to expose myself to that kind of aggravation, but especially, expose my cats to the kind of dangerous care they received there.
