Very poor business ethic. If customer does not like it or complains will be told to go somewhere else. Very unprofessional. Do not go to Winnipeg spay & neuter (Alpine animal hospital) they will up sell you to more expensive unnecessary procedures.

Had a horrible experience with this vet clinic. At a stressful time (sick cat), they did not show compassion or understanding. They overcharged above the quote provided and would not answer my questions. I would not recommend this clinic.

I've never experienced a more polished, professional, welcoming, and caring environment from a vet clinic. Dr. Standish and Dr. Nichol are spectacular in the years I've known them. They're by far the best I've met in this city.

This is the BEST vet clinic I found in Winnipeg. Their customer service is above and beyond standards. They are so caring and professionals that you feel you can rely 100% on their diagnosis and treatment. Though they operate as a business their fees are extremely affordable. They are definitely committed to provide pets & owners with the best service you can expect. Dr Chhoker and Dr Standish deserve Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care:)

The people at this helping place are completely excellent in helping all pets and pet owners and helping take in pets and strays to find homes.They care and while they are a "Business" that aspect is secondary to compassion handling of all animals.Excellent people.

Both the staff and doctors are both caring and compassionate. Went above and beyond to explain processes and treatments in detail. Absolutel top notch facility. They've definitely found a customer for life!

DR. Jim is worth his weight in gold, Great with the dogs, caring about the owner also. Would recommend him to anyone

I have been with Dr. Jim Standish for at least 4 years and as a breeder it's very important to me that I be part of the decision making in the care of my dogs, he consistently allows me to do so as well as use alternative medicine. He'll do consults with my homeopthic vet when needed and he makes quick call backs with new puppy buyers and or their vet when needed. He's caring, compassionate, understanding and gives my dogs "exceptional" care. His staff is also kind and caring.
