Click to report rating    6/2/18   5     5     5     5   Dr. K is amazing! I would never trust another Doc with my fur baby. RID: 66258
Click to report rating    11/21/17   1     3     1     3   Called to book an apt and was put on hold for 10 + mins by the receptionist , maybe she forgot about me ! not happy .......or impressed. They definitely need friendlier front room staff and to not keep people waiting. RID: 65093
Click to report rating    1/3/17   5     4     3     5   Dr. Linda is amazing. This is my 4th vet, and I will recommend her again and again. My dog has chronic ear infections and has to come back in every couple months. Linda has been very understanding of my budget and will do whatever it takes to keep the fees down. The wait can be very long, but definitely worth it. The receptionist seems a little standoffish at first, but is very kind once you get to know her. RID: 62291

5/14/14   5     5     5     5   Dr. Kazienko is the only veterinarian that I will confidently recommend to other pet owners. She is knowledgeable and cares deeply for your pets. She stays up to date on current veterinary medicine, but she also has the experience that many young vets can't offer. You can expect to wait for your appointment, but also expect to receive the best care a pet can get. I've never felt rushed or left without having every single question answered. At other vets, your appointment is 15 minutes and you're done. Dr. Kazienko is the first veterinarian I have been to in 18+ years who I trust completely. I don't feel as though I have to do my own research in order to provide appropriate care for my dogs. One of my dogs isn't friendly with strangers and she immediately took to the entire staff. As for the receptionist, I think she grows on you. Her interactions with new clients is very different from regular clients. She might not be bubbly, but she's always pleasant to deal with.  3/6/14   1     3     2     3   Staff: Doc K is experienced, seems knowledgeable and shows a genuine interest in you and your pet. The assistants are young but friendly. The receptionist Jennifer is AWEFUL. She is consistently unhelpful and often rude. Facilties: The office is small but functional and clean. Punctuality: Expect to wait to see the vet regardless of your scheduled appointment time. I am consistently admitted to an exam room more than 30 minutes past my appointment and have occasionally waited more than 90 minutes. I suppose this is the saw-off for feeling well served and unrushed when the Doctor attends. Monetary Value: I haven't compared but the rates don't seem extreme either way. There is an flat exam fee of about $75 to get in the door and treatment is added. RID: 50357

6/11/13   1     1     1     1   I whole heartedly agree with the post dated Jan 22/13. The girl at the front reception is the reason I am not going forward with this clinic in spite of the good reviews. I was only interested in rating the "staff" but I had to rate everything to post this. I have no valid opinion on any of the other headings. RID: 43057
Click to report rating    4/14/13   5     4     5     5   Excellent care, available on the phone for questions, LOVE their philosophy on reduced vaccinations, all around amazing care AND very reasonably priced. RID: 41759
Click to report rating    1/22/13   1     1     1     1   I called them to make an appointment for my dog. The receptionist I talked to was horrible. She was not nice at all. I decided not to go to this clinic. RID: 39835
1/2/13   5     5     5     5   I can't begin to express my thoughts as to how good the Maples Animal Hospital. I have had pets all my life and have dealt with a few vets but nothing like Dr. Linda. Our dog Sage recently was diagnosed with bone cancer at another vets office. They said they would not do amputation and that the cancer had probably spread. We were thinking about putting her down. One day I was walking Sage and ran into a friend of mine who takes his dog prancer to the park near our house. He told me about the amazing vet he goes to and how I should get a second opinion. Right in the park he phoned and got us an appointment. Yes she did have cancer but with more testing found it had not spread. The Dr amputated our dog's leg and nursed her back to health. She took her home at night and had a bed for her in the clinic. She did this for a week while we were on vacation (horrible timing) and surprised us by bringing her back to us at 4:30 in the morning on the day we arrived back home. Amazing!! RID: 39355
Click to report rating    12/21/12   5     5     5     5   I cannot say enough about Linda our vet and her unbelieveable passion for the pets that we have sent to her. She has been a blessing in the treatment of our dog Prancer who had his eyes removed at the tender age of 6 months and she has been caring for him ever since and she has cared for him as if it was one of her own. Just recently a friend of mine had found out that her dog Sage was diagnosed with bone cancer and was convinced they were going to have to put her down. I recommeded she go to Linda for a second opinion and Linda did some more extensive testing and xrays and determined there was a chance to stop the cancer from spreading any further than the leg. Well, I am pleased to say that Linda managed to operate on the leg to stop the cancer from spreading and Linda even took Sage to her own home to heal and recover over the past week. How many vets do that in this day and age! She is doing amazing and its all because of the gift God has given Linda in her LOVE for her patients. RID: 39202
Click to report rating    11/12/12   5     5     5     5   Hi! We have just returned from putting our beautiful golden - Annie down because she was just too sick to carry own. Everyone at Maples animal Hospital is just so wonderful. Annie was too young to pass but cancer became the culprit. Dr.Kazienko helped us in every way possible to give Annie quality time and life for her past two months of life. Frankly, I don't know what we would have done without her kindness and love for animals. You can tell she is in a career and position of life in which she is extremely well suited. Thank you so much. Click to report rating    10/25/12   1     2     1     1   Have had to put two dogs to sleep and both times she has tried to make us spend more money when it was fruitless always have to wait so long for your appointment but her staff is great RID: 38086
Click to report rating    10/2/12   5     5     4     5   Linda is the BEST vet I have ever been to. She is so caring and genuine. I lost my beloved bearded collie in 2007 and it was heart wrenching, but Linda and the staff at Maples Animal Hospital were so loving and kind throughout the whole ordeal. My cats go there now and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! RID: 37585
Click to report rating    9/26/12   5     5     4     5   I first met Dr. Kazienko when I was in highschool and co-oped at her clinic. The first day I walked in I knew I was going to like my time there. It has been a few years now since then, but I knew when I got my own dog that Maples Animal Hospital is where I wanted to go. Dr. Kazienko is very knowledgeable and listens to your concerns and takes her time with you. That being said you sometimes wait a little longer then expected, but it is worth it. The staff as well is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for being a wonderful caring Vet:) RID: 37449
Click to report rating    9/2/12   5     5     5     5   After having dogs all of my life, this is the first vet my do is NOT nervous going to. She is quite happy to have made new friends with this extremely friendly and helpful staff. Dr. K is extremely knowledgable and well read keeping up to date on new ideas and treatments. She is very open minded and takes your needs and concerns into consideration and is very helpful answering all questions no matter how mundane. RID: 36963

Click to report rating    7/2/12   5     5     5     5   Dr. Linda is a kind and wonderful vet who is knowledgeable about new vaccine protocols (Dr. Jean Dodd) and raw food for our dog. We are so very happy to have found her and though you may have to wait to see her, it is so worthwhile! RID: 35364
Click to report rating    6/16/12   5     5     5     5   Our kids - 2 golden retrievers - become so excited when we travel to Maples Animal Hospital! They love Dr. Linda and what she does for them with chiro and anything else that ails them. We have never met another Vet that is so caring and understanding . What a gift! The rest of the Staff are also terrific. Thank you for everything. See you next month! Annie and Rothesay RID: 35015
Click to report rating    5/24/12   5     5     3     5   I'm happy to have found Dr. Kazienko for our first puppy. She's informative and is very thorough with each visit. Her staff also checked up on our pup when he had an eye infection. She is compassionate towards the animals and it shows. I highly recommend her. RID: 34455
Click to report rating    5/24/12   5     5     5     5   Best Vet. I have been to many other vets and she is one of the few that actually cares about the animals and the owners RID: 34451
Click to report rating    4/28/12   5     5     5     5   The Maples Animal hospital is the best veterinary service I've ever used. I actually drive my animals forty minutes each way (rather than visit closer veterinarians) to see Dr. Kazienko - she is fabulous. She is extremely skilled, knowledgable and takes a lot of time with each animal. We first went to see her when she solved a problem that other vets weren't able to solve. The entire staff is great. Sometimes you have to wait a bit but the flip side to that is that she always has time to fit us in when we have had an emergency. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. RID: 33848
2/23/12   5     5     5     5   Dr Linda is the BEST. We have two border collies, We first were referred to Dr Linda ( as we call her) from a friend. Our border Collie was basically lame in her hind leg for 6 months, she chases deer etc, living on a farm. Dr Linda gave Chiro treatments to our border collie, we were initially advised that she would probably need a large surgery etc from another vet, Dr Linda throughly checked her out and advised us that this was unnecessary and chiro treatment would help her. Within 4 treatments our dog was walking on all four again, WOW shocking to us. We were thrilled to say the least. We have been a regular patient for 4 years now, Our dogs LOVE HER, she is amazing with all animals and treat them and us with so much care and takes the time with us each visit. The staff at the office is wonderful, always friendly and kind to each person and pet. We have so much positive things to say about Dr. Linda!!! We highly reccommed her she gives compassionate , loving care to all. RID: 32414
Click to report rating    2/18/12   5     5     5     5   Our gratitude and sincerest thanks to one of “dog's best friends” ... Linda Kazienko. Yesterday I faced losing one of my best friends, my dog Archie. Without warning my Welsh Terrier seemed to be deathly ill. My wife & I had no idea how a young & perfectly healthy dog could suddenly be so ill. Within 24 hrs, Linda had determined the exact illness & had started the critical measures needed to save Arch's life. Not unusual at Maples Hospital-Linda performs these amazing diagnoses routinely. But consider Linda's sacrifice to ensure that Arch survived severe pancreatitis. Linda worked till 1:00 AM -the answering machine marked that Linda took Arch out at 4:00 AM – so she could relieve herself Linda met us at 9:00 AM -with Archie ready for transfer to Guelph. (If Linda slept last night, it must have been at the Animal Hospital). There are a number of Animal Hospitals in the Burlington area but we will not take Arch anywhere but to Dr Linda. Click to report rating    12/31/11   5     5     5     5   AMAZING! My family has used the Maples Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Dr. Linda saved my Husband's first Dog with emergency surgery on New Years Day, late in the night. Our current dog has been cared for by her for over 10 years. She takes so much care with her animal patients and now as our dog ages, her skills in chiropractic medicine are really providing a lot of comfort for our dog. In emergency situations, the office squeezes you in. I called a few minutes before closing once when my dog became very ill, and I was told to bring him in right then. I really can not say more about Dr. Linda. I would never use another Veterinarian. RID: 30159
Click to report rating    12/6/11   1     3     3     3   I called this vet to make an appointment for my sick puppy. The lady that I talked to on the phone was so not nice. After that, I decided not to choose this vet. RID: 29624
Click to report rating    11/18/11   5     5     4     5   What a blessing to have found Dr. Linda! Our family can't say enough about this wonderful vet and her staff. Linda's compassion and love for our furry friends shows each time we visit. Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait, but we don't mind as Linda answers all questions and you're never rushed. Hats off to this amazing doctor, my only wish was that she took human patients. RID: 29228
Click to report rating    9/7/11   5     5     4     5   Sometimes the wait is a little long, but that is only because Dr Linda takes the time with her patients to make sure ALL of their concerns and questions are addressed before sending them on her way. She has been treating my pets for many, many years and even though I've moved to a different city, I still take them to her. She's done amazing things through chiropractics and NEVER recommends unnecessary proceedures!! Definitely one of the best vets you could ask for!! RID: 27428
Click to report rating    8/11/10   5     5     4     5   Love this vet, she cares for my animals as if they were her own. RID: 19181
Click to report rating    7/23/10   5     5     3     5   I'll be another one to sing the praise of Dr. Kazienko and all the Maples Animal Hospital Staff. After our other Burlington vet told us our dog had cancer and would likely die, we took him to Dr. Kazienko for a second opinion. That was about 5 years ago, and our dog clearly did not have any type of ailment. Dr. Kazienko has a clear passion for animals. She has never made a questionable decision concerning our dog, and will never recommend unnecessary actions. A far cry from our previous vet, she is clearly in this business for her love of animals, not money. Her knowledge of chiropractics has majorly helped our dog in his old age. Two thumbs way up for this dedicated animal hospital! RID: 18920
Click to report rating    8/23/08   5     5     5     5   Dr. Kazienko, with her kindness and love for animals has helped us with Molly, our oldest golden through her work of accupunture and chiro. She worked with us positively in helping Molly to eleviate and heal a very messy lickadermatitis that had gone on for a couple of years and of course, the very beneficial chiropractic procedure. She doesn't act like she is 11 years old and Molly is able to keep up with her golden siblings, Annie at 4 and Rothesay at 2. How cool is that? We look forward to coming to Maples Animal Hospital because of all the people who work there, but especially Dr. Linda, the atmosphere of the clinic and the great feeling that we leave with when the dogs appointments are over. We feel sto strongly about Maples Animal Hospital that we drive to Burlington from Stratford to be part of this wonderful experience. Thanks to everyone. Kathy and Don RID: 9758
Click to report rating    6/21/07   5     5     5     5   Highly recommend Dr Linda Kazienko, particularly if you're looking for chiropractic care for your animal. My Great Dane sustained a back injury & could no longer walk. After a few chiropractic treatments, she's now walking on her own again. My dog is one of many that she has helped!!! RID: 4700
