Terrible service!!! MONEY is the first consideration to them, not the pet!!! They use every method to rip you off. If you want to repeat the prescription and not do the check up again (which I just took my dog for them to check up 3 weeks ago), they made nonsense excuse to make you wait for a week for the medication; but if you spend more money and bring your pet in for another check up, they will provide the prescription right away. Never going back again even though I have using them for 20+ years!!! No moral in doing business!!! They charged expensive and still want more, but provide worst service especially the front desk. I called to ask for repeat prescription and they told me to wait for them to call back, no reply till the next day, I called again and they told me there is no record of my file. If you care for your pet, DON'T go to this clinic because they don't care of your loved one, they only care the MONEY!!!

Lack of ability to provide accurate diagnostic result. Only can rely on testing which means high cost. And service fee is much higher now.

Dr.Van and Dr. Burnett were very caring when treating my 14 yrs old cat Shady. From Vaccinations, diabetes treatment, to oral treatment and surgery. Rebecca is awesome and all the staff is friendly and helpful. Pricey, but unfortunately everywhere the veterinarian services are almost the same.The one thing I appreciate the most is that Doctors and staff always offers you alternatives of treatment, discuss and try to find ways to accommodate you in terms of treatment options and payment. Very satisfied!

I was very pleased with their services until Dr. Van surprised me by recommending I use a specialist they had just hired for a minor condition. He tried to exaggerate a common condition into catastrophic condition for me to pay an additional $600. I lost respect for them after that. I haven't had much luck with vets and as a result, by default, will keep my animal there. I have found they are all the same when the cat has to sty overnight there is no one on the premises and my cat was soiled the next morning and thumping his tail in anger. I would have been better off taking my cat home and not paying them for essentially doing nothing. But this is common practice with all the vets i have used for the last 30 years. I think something should be done about it univetsally by the college of veterinarians. They should be mandated to have someone on the premises for over night cats, to look in on them and talk to them, if they are ill.

We were introduced to this clinic due to our older dog needing immediate attention and were impressed how realistic they were on the situation and left it up to us how to proceed. Now with our new rescue dog, instead of ordering gazillion unnecessary tests, again the approach was down to earth realistic. The vet Dr. Burnett took her time to answer all our questions, we occupied her time nearly an hour, she gave us tips and tricks and we really appreciated the fact that this clinic values their four legged patients and respects them as dogs, cats; keeping the animals integrity. Great customer service from reception to end.

I took my cat here for his first Vet appointment, he was so scared and screamed, the staff was not gentle and patient with him, he has a bad experience so I will not bring him here anymore.

I have only ever had pleasant experiences going to this clinic. The staff are always helpful and friendly. They even carry heavy bags of food out to my car. You can tell the vets truely care about the animals and want whats best for them.

Both my cat and my dog are their patients. They are very nice and gentle to the clients, and ALWAYS give good suggestions for each visit. They NEVER force customers to buy pet foods or products there if they think the customers do not need. Very good Vet. Dr.Van is very experienced and detailed.

I love the greeting from Maha, the receptionist, when I walk into the clinic. She's always happy and glad to chat. My Lhasa Apso has always been treated with love and kindness from Dr. Diane. She always knows exactly how to treat her when a health issue arises. When it came time to have our beloved 15 year old Golden Retriever euthanized, we called her and she came to the house with a couple of assistants so we could all be part of the process. It was a very sad and emotional time but Dr. Diane helped us through it every step of the way. When we're waiting to see Dr. Diane, I don't mind if we have to wait a bit because once you're in there you can take lots of time to ask your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Diane Tsang and the Bayview Mall Clinic. LF

Dr. Van and the staff at the clinic are friendly and professional. I first met Dr. Van after moving into the North York neighbourhood of the clinic when my 15 year old dog collapsed, and was in need of immediate attention. My dog was stabilized and then it was determined that she was bleeding internally. Dr. Van carefully explained everything, (options and realistic expectations) for my dog. My family decided to go ahead and have surgery. After the surgery, my dog was extremely weak and wasn't eating. I was advised that if she didn't begin eating soon, it would compromise her recovery and threaten her survival. I prepared a mixture of boiled chicken and rice and delivered it to the clinic. The following day, I was informed that Dr. Van had returned to the clinic later the previous night and that he was able to convince my dog to eat. Happily, she came home 2 days later to begin her recovery. My children and I consider Dr. Van our hero!

When my cat was not being herself we got really worried about her. We took her to Bayview mall vet clinic and they treated her so well, the staff is so caring and friendly they were giving her kisses and lots of love. As worried as I was about her they made me feel so comfortable and took good care of her. She’s doing much better now thank you to all the staff for all your help.

I take my dogs to this clinic and all i have ever experienced was great quality service, care and commitment to my dogs and me. The staff is so great and caring my dogs love it there. They always take the time to explain everything to me thank you Bayview mall vet :)

I was not happy with their diagnosis. It was always about money and the many test that they recommended. They were 99% sure our dog had Cushings disease, and then after many tests, and then ultrasounds, they said good news .. she doesn't have it! When she was incontinent and drank a lot, "maybe she had obessive compulsive disorder". When I asked if she was in pain, they would not answer ... just more tests. towards the end, they said that dogs live "quite happily" on Heart medication, and that simply was not true. Our dog had laboured breathing and was barely hanging on. Dr. Van and the Ultrasound doctor had differing opinions on what our dog had. We paid over $1800 in the last month of her life and I think that it was driven by dollars. After all those years, could they not simply know that a dog had congestive heart failure? They just milked our file for all it was worth.

I liked dr Van at first. But when my dog was really sick, him and the staff all proved useless. The biggest problem is leaving the dog there overnight - no one watches them. When I came first thing in the morning - the IV was out and the cage was soiled, they presumed it was from diarrhea, but it must have been vomit. If we knew it there and then we'd diagnose the problem much sooner, save anguish, suffering of the dog and thousands(!!!) of dollars. My dog was eventually operated and saved in another clinic (Toronto Emergency - very good experience).

I took my cat because his pupil was not dilating properly. They couldnt give me any answers and ran all these blood test on my cat, i even asked them what would happen if all the blood work came back negative? no answer.. in the end of course, all the blood work came back negative, with no reasoning why my cat's eye was not dilated property. they wanted me to come back in to run some more test on his eye. shouldnt they have done test n the eye in the beginning instead of me paying $300+ for blood test? all they want is money!!!

They could care less about the well being of my little girls. It is all about money. No one called to find out how my very ill girl was or with the results of very expensive (and as far as I can figure) useless tests. Can't recommend them at all and won't be going back.

This doctors couldn't be more useless!! I took my cat there with jaundice and they wanted $2000 to run tests plus whatever treatment costs. I didn't want to go the aggressive course so they sent me home with a can of food and telling me to try to feed it. Didn't try to show me how to force feed it or even gave me the syringes. The last words to me where "Don't forget to pay in full on your way out". They only care about money. Will never go there again.

Dr. Van is the best!! He is comfortable around large breed dogs. I would leave my dog in his capable hands any day!

Caring staff who go the extra mile for difficult cases. Lose points for still recommending annual vaccinations but will listen to client's preferences.
