I love this Vet she takes time to call you at home just to let you know how things are going and they will even let you pay your bill in payments. The are the best!!!

I have been bringing my exotic pets to Dr. Sheehy and Sheehy Animal Hospital for more than 4 years and I have been extrememly satisfied with the doctor and her staff. It is nearly impossible to find a vet that will care for pet rats, and I have tried all of them within a 30 mile radius, yet I keep coming back to Dr. Sheehy because of the excellent care she and her staff provide. Most of my visits are not scheduled, but more of an urgent care situation and, unlike most vet offices, the staff and Dr. Sheehy are almost always able to make arrangements to see my sick pet within an hour or two. She has saved more than one of my pet rats from illness and injury. Dr. Sheehy has also performed surgery on several of my pet rats. All of them came through with flying colors and lived for a very long time afterwards. Also, all of my pets love Dr. Sheehy and all the members of her staff. They are happy to go to the vet's office and snuggle right up in the arms of everyone on staff

Inadequate vet care and care directions leads to pet death
We brought our pet bearded dragon to the hospital for a routine check-up. We did not have any special means of transporting the animal but were told by the staff that wrapping him in a towel would be sufficient. When we arrived and were taken into a room we were not given any method for providing heat to our dragon. An "emergency" case came in and we were required to wait nearly two hours for treatment of our dragon. He was not provided with any kind of heating throughout the whole visit even when we were forced to wait and he was extremely stressed out by the actions of the vet and the techs. Bearded dragons are extremely susceptible to stress and need constant heat in the high 70s to low 80s range. The vets office prodded this dragon then left him stressed out with no heat for over an hour only to come back and stress him out some more. After the visit they did not try to calm the animal or provide warmth

The staff is great. They got me right in for an ultrasound for my baby. (My regular vet didn't have the means to do an ultrasound) I was able to be in the room and the doctor explained everything as she went. It was a very good experience.

I thought the staff was wonderful, they seemed to go out of their way when my dog needed an emergency c-section. They stayed after hours,and made sure my dog was okay before she went home. Also they showed me how to take care of the 7 puppies. I was very happy with the care I received.

She is wonderful! She kept my Joselyn alive and well for 17 years - standard poodle whose life expectancy is 11. was always wonderful and careing with my kids and anyone i have referred.

Expensive compared to vets in the area. Vet seems put off when questioned. Be sure to get a second opinion on diagnose, treatment, or testing they say is needed. They diagnosed my dog as having a condition that required expensive life threatening treatments and seemed upset when I refused the treatments without a second opinion. I was glad I did so since it was found that the dog did not have the condition at all. Needless to say I have now found a new vet. On a good note the building is large and clean and you never wait for an appointment.
