Today we had an emergency w/ a new puppy and Dr McNulty and her staff could not have been less sympathetic. Before we even saw Dr McNulty she had her staff advise us we could take our puppy to the emergency clinic. We said, no, we want to see the dr and the staff person got upset and slammed a door on her way out. Guess, that was the wrong answer. The first thing Dr McNulty told us was she was trying to save us money by sending us elsewhere. We went to her because she was our vet, she was closest to us and we had a greviously injured dog. It really felt like she didn't WANT to be bothered. So, please don't bother her, or her staff. Especially if you love your animals, because they clearly couldn't care less.

They misdiagnosed my dog who was dying of diabetes. they should have either told me that my dog was already dying or started immediate treatment. Instead they charged me for "bloodwork" for $ 300,- (probably a test strip would have already revealed the diabetes) and a day later they called me to bring the dog in. i was told that the cost would be between $ 1200 and $ 1500,- this was saturday. Monday morning the vet called me and asked "how much more are you willing to pay ?" i picked him up and he died a few hours later after having paid over $ 2,000.- This place is only after your money.

I don't get the other ratings. The prices are comparable to other vet clinics I've been to. Dr. Miyahira came in on his day off to care for my pet.

This clinic is very expensive. The staff is constantly changing. The new manager doesnt seem to understand how to run this place. At one time this was an excellent animal clinic now it has just gone down hill and I am forced to take my pets further to get the best care. So sad Companinin Pet, Gold Canyon does deserve better

The times have changed for companion, there was a time you could truly receive good pet care from this facility however that is not longer the case. The office is terribly overpriced and Dr. Gore misdiagnosed my feline. Unfortunatley I had to take him elsewhere to be treated correctly. The second evaluation from another qualified vet revealed the misdiagnosis which resulted in additional charges that could have been avoided if the initial visit to companion had been properly addressed. After phoning companion to talk with the veterinarian who evaluated my feline she maintained her position on the evalutation but failed to recognize her mistakes that in fact could have terminated my precious feline as well as the astronomical cost that was passed on to me. I truly believe we are paying for the beautification and upgrades within the office and not addressing the care of our animals. How do we make this right ? Gold Canyon deserves better!
