If you own a "pocket pet" like a rat, hamster, degu, chinchilla, guinea pig, hedgehog, mouse or ferret, this clinic is an excellent resource. They know their small animal medicine and treat you and your pet with the utmost care and respect. Dr. Obegi is a very capable surgeon for both routine procedures on small mammals as well as some more intensive surgeries. A number of my beloved pet rats owe their lives to this clinic and they're not alone in the Seattle area. Dr. Obegi's pricing is very reasonable for a vet who treats exotics. They will be moving from their Shoreline clinic to a new facility in the University District soon. Dr. Obegi also treats dogs and cats and my experiences with her clinic and my cats have been universally good. I strongly recommend her for any rodent owners in the area and know many other small animal fanciers who drive miles to have her treat their pets.
