2/5/11   1     1     1     1   Having worked for Dr Rouchon several years ago, I can attest that he doesn't care about the animals that come in his clinic, only money. He used to have a money jar at the front desk for donations to help care for rescued animals at the clinic. We used to get in trouble for taking in any strays and if there was ANYTHING wrong with a stray he would just put it to sleep. The donation money went to taking care of cats at his house that his wife had rescued. This is just one example of his morals. In 30+ years I've never worked for a more horrible person. He also talks owners into costly treatments that only prolong the suffering of their pets but line his pockets. RID: 22612
4/14/08   1     2     2     1   On Friday 4/11/08 Emma (2 mo puppy) was vomiting and had diarrhea. Dr. Rouchon ruled out Parvo without even testing. Ordered an X-ray and a fecal. We questioned the possibility of Parvo, and he stated that she did not have the symptoms of it!!! He injected her with a muscle relaxant, and stated she would be fine. Sunday, we rushed her to an Emergency clinic... when giving the history, and telling them what Dr. Rouchon had diagnosed, they were surprised that a Parvo test was not ordered with the initial tests - as the symptoms of Parvo are VOMITING and DIARRHEA. Emma ended up having Parvo, and is now hospitalized! Requested a refund... Dr. Rouchon agreed via phone, 30 minutes later, he called my girlfriend and harassed her - stating to her that he told us Parvo test would be done on Monday, and that I was just after money. She corrected him, and said that he ruled out Parvo each of the multiple times we brought it up. Beware, vet after money and doesn't care about your pet!!! RID: 8089
