Dr Au is a pleasant person and competent when dealing with minor issues. I moved to another vet when my cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease . It was soon clear to me that she was not up to speed on current treatment and medication protocols. Much of what she was recommending would have been detrimental to my cat's health. She was also very closed minded to any suggestions. She is not confident in performing urine cystocentesis and insists on home urine collection which is both difficult and leads to contaminated samples. All in all this clinic is probably fine for routine check ups but not for anything more complex.

Far too expensive and filled with ridiculous policies!! They really aren't trying to compete with other clinics. I've come here for many years and have always had a pretty good experience, but that's not to say I can't have a good experience somewhere else for less.

I had taken my cat in for an annual check up and she doesn't like to be handled by anyone. Dr. Au took her to the back room wrapped in a towel to check her teeth. She came back a few minutes later and said everything looked fine. About 2 months later, I noticed my cat had lost her tooth! I think my cat was being a handfull and difficult so they either did a cursory check or gave up. Either way, I would have preferred the truth and figured out an alternative. The staff also kept pushing their cat food brand which we tried but my cat hated. Felt like a beauty salon where they try to upsell you. We have since have found a new vet. The Blue Cross on Danforth is good and less expensive.

I have to admit that I am very lucky to have my sister(Anne) whom has known Dr Au for more than 5 years by now. Thus, today I have a chance to bring my 9 years old cat to see Dr Au. At the end of the day, she(Dr) gave us options + her professional advices of what & how to take care of our cat while she(Cat) is ill. From my personal point of view, I can see Dr Au is a "Truly" and "warm" pets lover like most us(Pets Owners) and her price is very reasonable and consideration to most of the pets owners at least to our family's pets. It is because I know many other pets owners have to pay 2 to 3 times more each time when they have to visit the other Vets. Thus, thanks to Dr Au for her generous and consideration of charging our bills or else many cats or dogs would be abandoned due to an expensive medical bills which most pets owners can't afford now a day. Thanks again!!! and also, thanks to the staffs at the front desk for being professional and friendly.

I had a very bad experience with this clinic and Dr Au, she was very ignorant to my poor cat, while my cat was in a very bad situation she was fighting me over payment, she charged me initially for 100 dollar as a diposit, eventually my cat died because of long delay for treatment and making mistake to give a wrong medication, if you like your pet do not go to this clinic.

Cannot say enough good about this clinic. Caring, compassionate sensible people from animal techs to vets to reception. Thank you. Can't imagine trusting anyone else quite the same way.

After four years and thousands of dollars spent at various clinics, we found the Danforth Veterinary Clinic. My cat is now happier and healthier than she's ever been in her life. Dr. Au asked many questions and actually listened to my answers. If only we'd found her four years ago we could have saved ourselves a lot of suffering. The staff are also expceptional - I was hysterical when I first called. They were patient, supportive, sympathetic, and quick to get us in.

Love this place for my dog. Had been to another clinic (King West) where they tried to rip me off and convinced me of an illness only to find out it was not true! Danforth Vet was great with the mature dog spay and very comforting. I was so worried but they were just great. Highly recommend this clinic for your pet. Dr. Grant is very honest and works with you to ensure your pet is healthy and happy. The clinic is not out to get you or take advantage of the vulnerable situation we find ourselves in as owners of sometimes sick animals. Check it our for yourself, you and your pet will be happy!

I was very concerned to find a good, local veterinarian. I am incredibly happy to have come across the Danforth Vet Clinic. The Doctors and staff are all great, you can tell they are real animal lovers and have genuine interest in your pets' well-being. I would recommend this clinic for anyone, but especially first time pet owners. Dr. Au fully explained the basics of raising my kittens, including how to properly kitten-proof my home, clip their nails, feed them, etc. She answered all my questions and put me at ease with the concerns I had. The facility is clean, organized and they have a nice selection of products incase you need to pick anything up while you are there.

Dr Au has built a wonderful compassionate team. I have worked with many vets over the years and appreciated nearly all of them but would drive many miles to get my animals to Danforth Vet Clinic. The honesty and compassion shown by the whole team can move me to tears at times (and I don't cry!)

Highly recommended. Maybe a bit pricey but well worth it. They really care for pets, are open and Dr. Au is the best, best, best.
