I think the staff and vets at this clinic are EXCELLENT! We would not take our little girl anywhere else. Dr. Natacha is excellent -- knowledgeable and loving to our dog. Perhaps there were some problems at this clinic at one point but trust me, this clinic is wonderful and caring!

Dr Fiona is great, the owner on the other hand loves to promote corn, bi-products and other questionable ingredients in your pets food. While this is great for more frequent visits and money spending on your pet you're doing your pet no favors feeding garbage. There are much better vets if you look around.

I have been using Hillcrest for over 15 years (6 dogs). Always have had good service. Staff are kind and caring. The only thing I would change if I could would be prices. But everything goes up in price and everyone wants things to be cheaper! :)

My 18-year-old Siamese had very suddenly begun to show some blood in her urine. As it was 5pm, I called the closest vet to see what could be done. The first thing the receptionist suggested was "uh, put her down?" I'd known Hillcrest wasn't the best vet around, but that was uncalled for. The next morning we took her to Northumberland Vet Services, and although given a week to live after she was checked out, is still kicking around 11 months later.

Dr. Gilchrest has been amazing with our cats. She is very compassionate and caring with the animals. She is the best veterinarian I've ever taken my cats to. The clinic is in the process of expanding and I'm sure that the new facilities will be a huge improvement.

Very expensive compared to some of the other local vets. Rude staff and I have very little confidence in their diagnoses of my pet. They also need to learn good nutrition and to quit trying to peddle the "Crap" they call pet food.

My father went to pick up my dog after getting spayed, and the receptionist told him that someone had already picked up my dog. After she could tell that my father was shocked, she went in the back to check again, and it turned out that they just put my dog into another cage. The women then said that she had to come back in 3 days to get her stitches removed...when we had already asked for dissolveable stitches because I am from Toronto and it's too hard to get back. After my father was shocked, once again, she looked at the chart and realized she was wrong. They did call me three days later to make sure that my dog was okay, which was nice.

Not confident in the vets' diagnoses. Front office staff could be more pleasant and make fewer mistakes.
