I have been a customer of Rainbow for many years, going back to Dr. Wuele who owned it until several years ago when Dr. Metzger bought it. Two horrific situations occurred; first, my elderly heart patient dog had her teeth cleaned and when I came to pick her up at 4:30pm she was panting heavily, the tech said "no problem" and Dr. Metzger had just left (meaning he either didn't see her or he did and didn't pay attention to the heavy breathing, she diesd 20 minutes after i got home. Second, in 2012 I took my dog in for snoring sounds, he said he would do light sedation and look down the throat and that I would have to wait for him to take care of another dog. I left for coffee, came back in 20 minutes and he had already done the exam IN ADDITION TO DOING A "MINOR PROCEDURE" as he put it, WITHOUT MY CONSENT and Five days later my dog went into respiratory failure and $8200 later now has a permanent tracheotomy. I never SIGNED ANY FORM APPROVING THE PROCEDURE.
