I've been a client at city vet for 8 years. I've had wonderful service at the Uptown location. I recently moved to Flower Mound and have had terrible service. Specifically with Dr. Schwab. I would not recommend this location and/or doctor to anyone. Simply unprofessional.. It has been difficult at best to get the two sites to coordinate treatment. More specifically, to get Dr. Schwad to respect my current doctors treatment plan. I have kept seeing my vet at the Uptown location as she is familiar with my case and knows what's best for my dog. I simply prefer to go to Flower Mound for labs and to pick up prescriptions. However, Dr. Schwab continues to meddle in my case, refuses certain labs and medication as she doesn't agree with my dogs medication regimen. I find it unprofessional that she continues to meddle in my case and go against her peers treatment plan. At present I'm left with the decision to find a new vet which is not in the best interest of my dog.

I went to CityVet Uptown--two words--Cattle Car. Staff rushed, confused, can't wait for you to leave, was 30 minutes late seeing me, Dr Walters was not clear on cost and mostly..gave my dog a dangerous vaccine w/o my permission right after they spayed her..they also mislead me & my assistant that my dog would be 'monitored' overnight after her spaying..the entire staff leaves @ 8 pm. If your dog went into convulsions or ran high fever..no one there until 7 a.m. to even find out. I agreed to spaying, chipping and baby teeth pulling..but had add'l charges for ear cleaning, ear cytolgoy, ear pluck, Ear solution. My dog is <3 lbs..and no one watched her overnight after spaying and Lepto vaccine. Thank god she was okay. I was very upset and Dr Walters didn't even come up to the front when I was there to pick my dog up. The tech had to handle. They did credit me back for the procedures I didnt agree to..but BEWARE. They just want $$ & will do EVERYTHING to your dog w/o your permission.

My dogs got kennel cough while boarded at City Vet's facility. City Vet made me pay for the medicine to treat the disease.

Poor service, unfriendly staff, and inattentive care while pet in boarding. My dog was boarding at this vet and became sick. Well, they didn't call or tell me about it, even though they had an emergecy contact, but it turns out they didn't even notice! I told them my dog will never be brought back for their care, and took him to Valley Ranch where they diagnosed him with severe Bronchitis, and was close to turning into pnemonia which is fatal for dogs. No one could understand how a dog being cared for in a vet office, did not recieve the attention or medical care that he was in need of. Please do not take your dog or any beloved pet to this vet!
