I have been to several different vets and my family loves Dr. Metcalf. He is very down to earth, but also very knowageable. My dog has lympnoid cancer and he is very honest, yet caring with my feelings. He also keeps the costs down. His staff could definitaly do better though, but we still would go to him before anyone eles.

Great Vet and the most important aspect is honesty!! Normally you take your pet in for the routine shots which they perform well but they also saved our dog from PARVO!!! If you know anything about PARVO then I have already said enough and if you do not know about it and are in the area give them a call asap. The only disappointment with this vet office was the lady who I guess ran the office. She was the rudest person we have encountered in some time and it could not have been at a worst time since our dog was sick with parvo. Hopefully they have corrected this issue because I could see them losing some customers due to that issue and would hate to see that happen to good vet. No matter how you look at it, that person is a reflection on that vet office.

They truly love animals and will take the time to talk with you about your concerns and or needs for your pet. They don't push you into unneeded treatments. Dr. Metcalf and Dr. Peek are the 2 best vets in the area as far as I am concerned!
