AVOID THIS PLACE! They killed my dog! I think it was from overmedicating. Expensive .. wouldn't use them ever again, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. One of the vet techs was super nasty to me also.

They are a chop shop they don't care about your pets. The doctors are never there except to just do the surgeries. What can the support staff do if there is an emergency with your pet afterwords, nothing.

Only used them myself once, for a late night euthanasia of an old dog, but they were absolutely fantastic. I know others who have used them as well, top notch clinic.

Dr. Scherlie (opthamology)is wonderful - he's extremely knowledgeable, helpful, practical, explains things very well and really goes the extra mile for his patients. The specialists are not inexpensive, but most are well worth it. The after-hours emergency clinic is also very good, very reasonably priced and not nearly as busy (or expensive) as Dove Lewis. The emergency vets explain things clearly, have excellent "bedside" manners and give practical advice if warranted (e.g., will tell you if something can wait indefinitely, if an option will be less expensive through your regular vet, if symptoms can be treated with OTC medications (for incurable conditions)).
