I have been using this vet office for 7 years. But after my last visit I absolutely refuse to take any of my 5 animals back. My 8 year old springer had gained an enormous amount of weight in just a few months. Dr. MacKay put him on a diet filled with chicken. When all his hair fell out & his dry nose cracked open, she anounced he had allergies and wanted to put him on allergy meds that were going to cost me $200.00 per month. I took my dog off her damn "restricted diet" switched him to Dick VanPatten's salmon & sweet potato dog food. He is not on any meds. His hair is now grown back thick & healthy & his nose is once again wet & healthy, although it bares scares from this ordeal. If Dr. April MacKay would have listen to me when I told her he couldn't eat chicken, then I'd still be going there. Afterall, what bird dog is allergic to fowl anyway, right? I think I know better because he's been mine for 9 years. I just don't feel I can trust them with my pets lives.

Dr. Prentiss Madden at Centennial Hills Animal Hospital killed our cat! We took our sick cat in. He asked if we were there for vaccines and we said no, discussed his condition and decided to wait on vaccines until we had a diagnosis. I left my cat in his care for blood and urine tests. As soon as my back was turned he vaccinated him anyways! Against what we discussed and specifically without consent! His diagnosis came back as diabetic. In his already weakened state the vaccines caused him not to eat. This led to liver and kidney failure. Centennial Hills refused our request for records until they had time to be sure they reflected the events in their favor. They didn't even deny it when I accused them of altering them! When WE finally reached the insurance company they said it was my word against Dr. Maddens. Imagine that!. Do not let Dr. Prentiss Madden treat your pets. He is negligent and lazy preferring to do as he chooses rather than acting in the best interest of his patients.
