I have been taking my felines to this clinic for over ten years - love the staff, and love the care they give.

Let me start by saying that I have received good and bad service at this clinic. But why I will not go back there is because they value money over animal welfare. I watched a dog get hit by a car literally a 2min walk away from this clinic and ran in to see if they could do anything to help. The receptionist was helpful and seemed genuinely concerned. The vet, on the other hand, didn't even leave the back room to talk to me and said that they would need to know who was going to pay for the services before they would even help. I guess profit means more helping an injured animal. The attitude of the vet was totally disgusting and callous. How that woman could go to sleep at night knowing that she could have helped but didn't is beyond me. After this experience I will no longer be going to this clinic. I'm taking my money and business to a clinic that actually cares about animals.

Dr Littlejohn and staff have always been very caring and professional. I think most vet clinics are expensive in the city so before having one you must know if you can afford it!! My animals always enjoyed going to see the staff and are very helpful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone as I've been going for over 25 years!!

Don't let these people fool you. All they care about is getting your money. They could care less about your pet. They are sarcastic and rude.. They will reach for your pet with one hand while the other is going for your credit card. If your are from out of town and your pet needs it's script filled and you have all the paper work from your vet, they will tell you they are not a pharmancy, and will not fill it until you spend a few hundred on an exam you don't need before they will fill it. They are only after your money...

I can't say enough good things about Dr Littlejohn and his staff. My doberman had Cushings and Dr Littlejohn guided us through a very costly and scary diagnosis and treatment period with so much care and understanding that they'll forever have my respect. He always took the time to make sure I understood all of my options, and actually listened to my input and concerns. We moved to the other side of the city, so we're no longer clients, but we continued making the 40+ min drive to his office for the last year of Penelope's life. When it was time to put her down I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. After she passed he sent a beautiful note of condolence that I still have. His staff are top notch, friendly and always follow up before it's due. If you're looking for someone with up to date knowledge, a wide base of contacts (who he actively consults with if he feels that something may be out of his scope) and who actually cares about your pet, this is the clinic to go to.

I have been going to this clinic for a couple years now and I have been throughly impressed everytime I go. The clinic is always clean and the staff is great. Both my dogs love going there. Dr. Littlejohn is very understanding and I couldn't imagine going to any other vet.

I have been to Dr. Littlejohn and Dr. Mason for years with my dogs as well as my cats prior to the canines. My animals pull on their leashes as we are close and try to go search for both of the doctors when we enter the clinic.I find them both very honest, gentle and empathetic. We have had the best care and advice consistantly through the last decade and I cannot imagine being in better hands than them. I have always had the best results with any surgery, they follow up with phone calls, I've even had a puppy taken home by Dr. Mason so that she could personally monitor him on antibiotics overnight( no charge). Such is their dedication! Would not go anywhere else.

I have been visiting the Woodbine Animal Clinic for over 20 years and have never received anything but prompt, caring and honest service from the staff. Dr Littlejohn is very straightforward, which I appreciate a great deal ( I do not want to be given false hopes and promises that can't be kept). I and my pets (cats and dogs) have been treated with respect and my wishes have always been accomodated if at all possible. Two thumbs up! Cannot imagine having my pet family cared for anywhere else.

Came to this clinic recently and had a very good experience. We dealt with Dr. Littlejohn and I highly suggest bringing your pets to this clinic. I was supplied with lots of information and even self remedies.

I've been very happy with this vet clinic. I brought my cat in because he ingested thread and even though it was not cheap, the communication was fantastic and all the vets involved did a great job treating my cat. He had to have surgery, but he bounced right back and seemed no worse for wear. At the same time, their thoroughness alerted me to the possibility he may develop kidney issues down the road. Now that I know, I can deal with it early instead of when it's too late. Dr. Mason and Dr. Littlejohn are great and very caring vets.

In my experience Dr. Littlejohn seems to have little regard for pain in animals. He is rough and often takes the pet to the back to do even basic work. I ask- would we leave our babies or children alone for a medical test? Why do vets do this? My pet is scared of him and has never been scared of a vet before. I would never go back or recommend Woodbine Animal Clinic.

Dr. Mason is fantastic, especially with difficult cats! Dr. Littlejohn has tried to shake my cat out of her carrier which didn't go so well (big surprise there). She bit him. I took the lid off the cat carrier to get her out, it took a few extra minutes but she was not traumatized. Nail trims for cats are expensive $35. Dental surgery is very expensive. Hospital boarding was reasonably priced though. Receptionists could be more friendly and greet the dogs/cats as they come in. I wouldn't take my cat back to Dr. Littlejohn, but I would certainly go back to see Dr. Mason!!!

Dr. Littlejohn is great. He treated my cat for cancer several years ago without a reoccurrence. He is very caring and explains things clearly. He has treated my guinea pigs in the past for minor everyday concerns. With more complex guinea pig problems, Dr. Mason referred me to another vet. (Dr. Little john was unavailable that day.) I liked Dr. Mason as well and would be quite comfortable with her treating my cat. I hope that I don't move away from the area because this is quite a good veterinary hospital! The tech staff sometimes seem stressed and overworked though.

Dr.Mason is a terrific vet, super caring and great with returning phone calls. But the costs are amongst the highest in the area for dental work. Where others charge a $10 blood test collection fee, they charge $30. Receptionist is not too on the ball, left us waiting 30 minutes due to a double-booking, and didn't say anything until asked.

Dr. Littlejohn is immensely caring and skilled - the perfect combination. He saved our dog who was very ill and has successfully treated him long-term. He is mindful of cost/expense as well, and in my opinion, does not recommend unnecessary treatments. He's also very helpful by phone at the times we have needed him, and actually looked after our dog for almost a week in-house, on IV when he was most ill. Like I said, he and the others at the clinic saved our beloved boy.
