you want to keep your animal healthy...don't take to this clinic. my dog broke his leg and their surgeon did the surgery and ended up with a serious infection (they didn't ask to see the dog for four days after the surgery) and the my dog had to have his leg amutated due to the terrible incompetent surgery that was done on him at this clinic. We asked for our money back for all of this so we could get him fixed up and was told no..All this clinic cares about is all the money it charges for terrible service and not the animals. I will continue doing poor reviews and also putting a complaint into the barrie examiner and possibly contacting a lawyer to get reimbursed and I am also thinking about putting in a complaint to the college of veterinarians of ontario.. something needs to be done about this clinic before other animals get hurt or loose their legs..contact me anytime at 705-890-3754

On the morning of Sunday, March 11, 2018 I made an appt. to take my 13 year old Sheltie, Lilly, to this clinic. We knew there was a good possibility she would have to cross the rainbow bridge as she was very sick. Lilly was not a patient of O'Sullivan's but they told us to come in at 1:20 that day. We met with Dr. Linxi Li who was very compassionate and caring. After discussing Lilly's situation with her, we made the heartbreaking decision to let her go. We were taken into the "Quiet Room" to say goodbye to our sweet girl and it was so peaceful. I can't say enough about Dr. Li and Tracey who assisted her. I would highly recommend this clinic.

We do have a lovely vet already, but this is a clinic that we use after hours or if we have crazy schedules. They have assisted with multiple visits over the years and frankly very relieved to have access to such a place. Many , many thanks.

Awesome clinic!! Absolutely fantastic. They know what they are doing and are always open. I had no idea a vet hops could be so caring!! Totally helped me out with an emergency. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

I manage an animal rescue organization and have for 20 years. We have dealt with hundreds of veterinarians all over Ontario - often travelling great distances to deal with vets we trust and who are compassionate and skilled. Not all vets are in this business for the animals. In my opinion, the doctors and staff at O'Sullivan Animal Hospital CARE. I am now telling everyone about this hospital. I took a cat in recently who was a 'stray' (not a cat from our shelter) and she was in critical condition. I really believed we would lose her. Today I will pick her up - after several days of around the clock, professional care - SHE PULLED THROUGH. These people fought for Crumb Cake (I did not name her - lol). I can't say enough about the doctors and staff at O'Sullivan. It also brings me peace of mind that my animals will receive around the clock care. THANK YOU O'SULLIVAN ANIMAL HOSPITAL - you will be seeing much more of us and our rescued animals!

I will never, ever hand my dog over to these incompetent, irresponsible vets again. I was quoted over $1300 to stitch a small wound on her leg that probably would have required 3 stitches at the most. I chose to have the wound cleaned and bandaged. The cost was minor though, compared to the atrocious treatment they put my dog through and their refusal to let me see my dog and how they were wrapping her leg (so I would know for her continued care at home). Worst of all, the vet put my dog and the others at the clinic at risk when she carelessly walked her through the busy waiting room AFTER I told her my dog is reactive to other dogs. There was another path she could have taken with no other dogs, that was a direct path to me, so I believe she did this to prove a point because I'm sure at that point I was a "difficult" client. To top it all off, when I went rewrap her leg just a day and a half later, she had sores on her toes from her foot being wrapped too tight. I will NEVER go back!

My year old puppy got run over by a car, Sunday afternoon first long weekend of the year. The staff, already busy, took my "kid" in immediately and made her comfortable. They also made me comfortable, which was admittedly difficult. They were gentle. They were courteous. They were accessible. Billing was reasonable with both a low & high end$ total so no suprises at end of the day.

I love this clinic! I work in the animal world so I no what is goin on with my pets! I live that Trish gives me all the info and doesn't sugar coat anything! And ppl in here saying she is expensive she isn't she is here for the animals trust me! My one girl got cancer and they where amazing after 2 surgeries she is like a new dog! They kept my hopes up and never let me get upset they were so positive! My other girl has some issues were working on an I get called all the time to make sure she is ok! I love this vet they actually care! I have use other vets (404 and bell farm) and I am not very happy with them! I recommend Trish to everyone and all my friends are happy with her to! Thank u staff of o'sullivan u save my girls lives :)

I recently took my 3 yr. old dog there and was very pleased with them. Most important to me is that they do everything on-site if certain services are necessary and there is no waiting days for results. I will say however, the initial quote I got was for a hospital stay and 2 other quotes for lesser treatment options. Found it odd that they recommended the overnite stay. Might have agreed had puppy been critical, but she was nowhere near. I guess they just give you your options (highest to lowest) in the change you choose the highest. Like them nonetheles.

I took my cat there for a skin problem. I had to wait forever for him to be seen, then forever again for the price list, then forever again for him to get a needle. If they were that busy, why did they offer me a same-day appointment? After he was seen, I chose the medication-only treatment option (the other option was tests (to confirm a diagnosis)and medications which was outrageously expensive) I asked if the vet or a vet tech was going to come back in the exam room to clean his wounds and give him an antiseptic (to prevent infection). The receptionist said this would cost an extra $30.00. The vet could also not be bothered to give him the first dose of his medications or advise me on how to use them or when to follow-up. Every other vet I have ever been to comes back in the room after you have decided on a course of action to administer the first dose and give advice. No such service here! Ridiculously bad customer service...they only want your money.

I love that this clinic is 24 hours since I live out of town. The staff are very friendly and hard working, and it is a nice environment to be in especially with a sick kitty.

Wonderful, caring staff and veterinarians. I lost my toy poodle to Cushings Disease and diabetes. Not only did they send me a sympathy card, Dr. Angela made a donation in Saylor's name to research at Guelph University. I now have a new puppy and they have been wonderful to her as well.
