Click to report rating    1/9/18   5     5     4     5   The staff including the doctors are not just friendly they are knowledgeable professionals. For all the people out there please remember that vet care is not government funded. Every item one sees in a clinic is paid for by the vet, including wages, utilities and expensive equipment. If you need help with costs get pet insurance, foa low monthly fee you pay a deductible and the plan pays the rest. With this type of coverage one has no excuse to complain. RID: 65342

Click to report rating    8/25/16   5     5     5     5   I have been taking my pets to Willowdale for over thirty years and have always found the vets and the office staff to be very warm and welcoming. Dr Jonathon Bloom has been our primary vet and he is very knowledgeable and concerned about the pets he treats....both of my dogs have loved him and he has looked after them with warmth and genuine concern. I love the fact that this clinic is available for regular routine care as well as emergency treatment 24/7 and that I also can board my dog there with a clear conscience, knowing that he will be safe and in good hands. I would highly recommend this clinic...I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else! RID: 61428

3/15/16   5     5     5     5   I recently had to make the ultimate decision that many pet owners are faced with. My 14 3/4 year old Bichon was treated at Willowdale Animal Hospital for most of his life. Dr Jonathan Bloom was his primary Doctor, but over the years he was treated by most of the other vets as well. I have the greatest of praise for all of the staff at the clinic I would agree that the staff are thorough in their examinations and offerings of diagnostics and dentistry. That's because Willowdale is a Preventative Health clinic. I like the proactive model of health care rather than being reactive and as a result there is no place I would rather have my 8 week old Bichon start his lifelong Veterinary Care. I am looking forward to introducing Mr Riley Right aka Riley to Dr Bloom and the entire staff. Thanks for for being there for us!!! RID: 60043

5/9/15   5     5     5     5   We have been bringing all our pets to Willowdale for years and have always received the best of care! Dr Krebs looks after our two rescue dogs now and they love her, as do we. She is informative, easy going and clearly compassionate. The staff always welcome us the second we arrive and treat our pets as family. We highly recommend Dr Krebs and Willowdale Animal Hospital to our friends and family. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else!! RID: 56950

4/9/15   1     1     1     1   Worst vet clinic that I have ever experienced. The vet did not properly advise me of my cats fractured tooth. She said it was fine and that the pulp was not exposed. It was exposed and my cat was in pain and suffering. My cat had to have two surgeries and after talking to friends and the original vet who did the work on my cat - I decided to send my cat to a board certified dentist. I cancelled my appointment with Willowdale and the next day I got a registered letter asking me not to come back again and that general or emergency service will not be provided since the 'trust' is broken between vet and patient. I made a complaint to management a couple of weeks prior about the vet and you can tell that they were very annoyed about it. My issues don't seem isolated. Customer service has gone done hill since new management. If you call this clinic you are almost always put on hold since they are short staffed. Totally disorganized. The vets also rush you out the door and expect you to ma RID: 56581

12/28/14   1     1     1     1   I took my kitten into this "hospital". She wasn't breathing so they revived her. They told me her chances were 50/50. NEVER did the doctor even explain to me what was wrong with my kitten. All they cared about was talking about how much money i can give them to fix her. I get a call the next day saying the cat isnt doing to well but can still beat what ever she had ( they still have not told me what happened to my kitten) two hours after the call they tell me my cat is doing well. I got excited ready to bring her home. two hours after that i get a phone call saying she vomited and died. This veterinary clinic if you want to call it that is a shameful place. All they want is money. NEVER bring your animal here. They care more about their money then the animals they should be saving. I spent 900 dollars on the overnight stay. Now i need to pay another 300 to get her ashes back. All they did was play emotional games with me until they felt i payed enough money. RID: 55219

Click to report rating    2/28/14   5     4     4     5   This hospital is great! Took really good care of my dog when she was sick. It is great because it is never closed. This meant I didn't have to transfer my dog to another hospital. Really great staff. RID: 50230
Click to report rating    1/26/14   5     5     5     5   I have been bringing my 10 year old Labrador Retriever to the Willowdale Animal Hospital ever since she was a puppy. The clinic is very clean and modern and they are conveniently open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I can make an appointment for my dog any time during the day for any type of care – anything from a general checkup up to emergency treatment. My dog has had a number of successful surgical procedures at this clinic, too. The doctors, technicians, vet assistants, client coordinators and support staff are very professional and compassionate. Dr. Krebs, our primary veterinarian, has been instrumental in providing excellent veterinary care that has clearly extended the quality of my healthy dog’s life. I am very thankful for everything she has done for me and my dog. My dog adores her. RID: 49476

12/7/13   5     5     5     5   Dr. Krebs has been the vet for all of our pets (5 cats and a dog) over a decade. She is proactive and amazing with us. Our first stop with any new pet is to the clinic. Her colleagues have been great when they cover for any emergencies especially Dr Lee and Dr Neculoiu. We go because they have 24hr care, onsite labs and good connection to other specialists in the GTA when absolutely needed. As a healthcare provider, I recognize great care when I experience it and Dr. Krebs and her team are truly the best care your pet can have in Toronto. With sincere thanks from our pets, Carman, Penny and Charlotte! RID: 48654

7/1/13   2     1     3     1   We had taken our beloved dog to this hospital since she was a puppy. Unfortunately, they let us down in the worst way. They didn't give us any advice on preventative care and we lost our dog to soon from kidney failure. When she fell sick, they charged us double the estimate, a total of $5,000+HST. And they sent us home with a dying dog! :( Our dog had Couching's disease and the vet never told us the importance of doing annual complete full profile blood test, the importance of a strict diet, or to look for natural holistic remedies that can detoxify the dog's major organs that failed very fast and in a tragic and painful way for both our dog and us. Our dog could have lived a few more years if the vet had properly explained all of the above. We are deeply saddened and disappointed!!! Moreover, the hospital does not even have the proper facility for the staff to take the dog out for pee and poo, and she was constipated every time we left her there!!! RID: 43415

6/8/12   5     5     4     4   Although Dr. Jonathan Bloom is my regular & long time vet and an outstanding one at that, I recently had an emergency visit after hours with Dr. Bekhit. He was representative of the fine quality & care I have always known & trusted at the WAH. He was knowledgeable, informed and gave me a good understanding of my particular problem. I have to admit I thought after-hours emergency care would be much more expensive than a regular day appointment and was happily surprised to find out it is not. After 20+ yrs dealing with this clinic I have come to understand that they are more interested in your pets welfare than your wallet. They will always tell you to run the full gamut of tests, (yes expensive tests) but I know to keep that in check by taking 1 or 2 steps at a time rather than dive right in. RID: 34855

3/18/12   5     5     5     5   We're relied on Dr Krebs thoughtful and compassionate care for almost 20 years. She's taken care of our three cats, from young adults to frail seniors. She provides full explanations of the issues and options to enable us to make decisions. Her outstanding efforts to manage thyroid, kidney, and heart diseases made our cat's last years comfortable and enjoyable. Hospital staff are friendly and sincere - they go out of their way to ensure that our cat is comfortable. Over the years we've had 3 emergencies, and in each case we received excellent care. The health records on file are really helpful to the vet on duty (who may not know your cat). We've just adopted three 'rescue' kittens, and even though we've moved further away we would not consider changing vets. RID: 32990

2/27/12   5     5     4     4   Dr. Krebs has been our main veterinarian for more than 20 years, and we have always been pleased and grateful for her dedication and caring. We have no plans to change vets any time soon! The wide selection of food and medication available on site is really convenient when you've got pets with various health issues. The staff and other vets are also great, the clinic is clean and bright, and we've never had a problem with the medical care our pets received. Some years back there was an issue with an administrative error that resulted in an incorrect phone number being called and a pet suffering as a result, but that's the only issue over our many years and many many visits to the office. I would highly recommend Dr. Krebs and Willowdale to anyone with cats, dogs, or small animals. RID: 32510

8/29/11   5     5     5     5   We've been bringing our animals to Willowdale Animal Hospital for 20 years. We have received outstanding care and attention from the professional and caring staff. Because of Dr.Krebs' quick diagnosis and treatment we were able to enjoy an extra four years with our elderly cat when she was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. When she passed the staff were respectful and gave us the time and space we needed. We tried a new vet on the advice of a friend, but after a terrible experience where our puppy's vaccines were messed up, Dr.Krebs was there to nurse her back to health. We're always seen quickly and Dr.Krebs takes the time to answer all of our questions. This clinic offers many services, has top equipment on site, is open 24/7 365, and has top notch staff. If your pet's illness is beyond their expertise, they will not hesitate in sending you to a specialist. I very much respect them for this. Basically, you get what you pay for. If you want the best care possible, this is where you go. RID: 27247

6/27/11   5     5     5     5   We have been taking our large breed dog to the Willowdale Animal Hospital for the last 13 years. His senior years is a testament to their good care. We have been very happy with the service we have received which is why we keep going back. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful and the Vets are caring, competent and professional. We have dealt primarily with Dr Bloom and he is thorough and more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right and our dog is healthy. He always follows up and never seems in a rush. We have also taken our cat there on an emergency basis when our cat Vet was not available. Dr Bloom and Dr Krebs saved two of his nine lives! Thank you for being there when we needed you most for both of our boys. Keep up the good work - your patients and their owners appreciate you. :>) RID: 25853

5/17/11   5     5     5     4   I have used Willowdale Animal Hospital for several years to take care of my cats. I find the facilities are excellent and the staff are extremely knowledgeable. I love the fact they are there 24 x 7 and when an animal is spayed or neutered they are not sent home after surgery the same day, rather they are monitored and taken care of till the following day. I have used most of their veterinarian staff, mainly work with Dr. Cindy Krebs who is great, but would highly recommend all of the staff. There are members who specailize in certain areas and they will take care of your animal if that is there problem. When I had a parvo virus outbreak, they were compasionate, very understanding and took excellent care of the cats. I would highly recomend them if your animal needs medical care. RID: 25062

5/15/11   5     5     5     5   My animals have been clients with this hospital for over 20 years. I now live outside Toronto but have kept them as my vet. They know my animals and their history and they know me. Needless to say there have been tears over the years when I have had to say goodbye to a loving four legged friend. One of the most recent was my beloved border collie who had collapsed late at night on a Sunday. I was so glad they were open and available that night. I called to advise of the problem, they were ready and waiting when we arrived. They were so considerate at a time when I was so emotionally upset. I later received a notice from Guelph University advising that a donation had been made in Casey's name by the hospital. I really appreciated the thought. I have again gone in today with all my four legged family members for their annual shots. Dr Krebs was well prepared in advance for our arrival, had everything ready for each exam. Our appointment was on time. Staff were very helpful. RID: 25014

4/19/11   5     5     4     4   My sister and I have been taking our three little Pekingese to this animal hospital for over 10 years and we are both very happy with the service. The vets and their staff are all extremely friendly, caring and they always call to follow up on appointments and make sure your pet is doing well. Dr. Bloom has been our primary vet. He is very knowledgeable and a wonderful professional. He calls personally with test results, returns phone calls promptly, answers questions, and, most importantly, he always takes his time with each one of our dogs and makes sure that we fully understand everything he is doing and the reasoning behind it. We both highly recommend this wonderful animal hospital to dog owners in the area. RID: 24504

3/19/11   4     5     4     4   We were very pleased and relieved to be able to bring our precious Bakunin to this 24/7 clinic. Although our little cat eventually died, most of the staff were terrific. Dr. Ibrahim was amazing, informative, caring, empathetic and knowledgeable. He totally supported us in reaching the decision to take our cat home to die -- which we did with absolutely no regrets. Our cat did not suffer -- we had a back up vet arranged in case he needed to be euthanized. It was not required -- and our precious Bakunin died in my arms at 9 am on Sunday March 13th. He was surrounded by many who loved him and who love us. One of the vets did not agree with our decision. If there were any challenges by staff, we just discussed it and ultimately, we are the clients paying for a much needed service and advocated really well for ourselves and our sweet cat. We would recommend Dr. Ibrahim and his team without reservations!!! RID: 23665

1/21/11   1     2     1     1   In my opinion, this is a clinic which does tests that are expensive and do not necessarily relate to the direct treatment of the problem the animal is there for. When we expressed our concern about tests being done and told them that money was an issue, we were told that although Dr. Bloom would like to continue to treat our dog, perhaps we should, "go somewhere else". I also find it odd that of all the vets I have left comments for, this is the only clinic that I have come across that requires a "sign-in". We spent around $2000. and our dog was no better when we left than he was when we went. After leaving Willowdale we took our dog to Guelph animal hospital. They kept him for a number of days, treated him, did an expensive CT scan and other tests, AND he was seen by a specialist, for less than 1/2 of what Willowdale charged for the couple hours our dog spent there. I'm not sure how this clinic made it up to a rating of 2.5. I wouldn't give it 1.0!! RID: 22242

10/6/10   5     5     5     4   We took a dying stray kitten here, and Dr. Ibrahim was on duty, and told us that the kitten had already died from Feline Panleukopenia. He offered to have it cremated for us. We told him that we had our own cat at home, so he recommend we immediately bring her in for blood work, to be on the safe side. We brought our cat in right away, and she stayed overnight (to allow our apartment to clear out for 24-hours). They did the blood work and the next day, I spoke to Dr. Hall on the phone and everything was explained to me in a lot of detail. We went to pick our cat up that night, and made an appointment with Dr. Ibrahim to check our cat's oral health. Two days later, he looked at our cat's teeth and recommended a Cat Dental Package and X-Rays. He told us the cost would be $600-$1400. We can't afford it, so he gave us drops to try for 12 days. The cost for the blood work, stay, and consultation was $355, and the drops were $61. Service was excellent and there was no pressure at all. RID: 20091
Click to report rating    7/25/10   1     2     2     1   My cat was ill, took her to Willowdale Animal Hospital. Vet told me she needed fluids, intensive care, blood work, x ray, needed to do a fecal test, etc told me if i didnt do everything quickly she could have a kidney failure and that it would cost me much more (already had a bill for $700+) The vet also told me she was eating "junk food" (Purina) and that they had the right food ($25 a bag). I insisted that i was not going through with everything and the vet said finances should not get into my way for the care of my cat. Got the hell out of there, but still had to pay $345, waited the next day found a wonderful vet at Bloor and Kipling who gave my cat a thorough check and told me it was an allergic reaction to a change in her food (my husband gave her some whiskas treat which was never given to her before). He treated her and charged me a fraction of the 345 that i paid at that rip off place. My cat was fine the next day. So much for kidney failure. RID: 18935

Click to report rating    5/16/10   3     5     5     5   I am a dog breeder. Willowdale is expensive, BUT they are no more expensive than the Veterinary Emergency Hospitals and a lot better at communication. They have done numerous Cesarian Sections for my dogs AND ALWAYS saved the Moms and the pups. They have saved the lives of my emergency cases and always tried their best. Their prices are high, but no more so than 95% of the Toronto Clinics and your PET GETS PROPER OVERNIGHT care! Why would I want to leave a pregnant **** or a sick dog in a local clinic and then MOVE the dog at night to the emergency clinic and back again in the morning. THAT is the worst situation for the pet! The bill will be just as high in the end. I don't think most consumers are aware that many of the emergency clinics are owned by groups of Veterinarians who split the profits so they don't have to work nights and weekends. RID: 17972
Click to report rating    3/30/10   1     1     1     1   http://www.torontosun.com/news/toront... A six-month old puppy died a few hours after an animal hospital refused treatment because her owner couldn’t produce a $1,600 deposit. Ryan Kerr took his mixed-breed puppy, Kila, to the 24-hour Willowdale Animal Hospital at 5 a.m. on Saturday, fearing there was something seriously wrong with his pet. She was assessed by one of the overnight doctors who determined further medical treatment was required. However, Kerr said he was informed that a $1,600 deposit would be required before medical personnel provided that treatment. “I told the doctor I would be able to pay for the procedure when she was ready to be picked up, but I was told nothing could be done without the deposit,” he recalled. Kerr took Kila home and, despite the early hour, called family and friends and was able to raise the money and went out to collect it. But by the time he got back home to take Kila to the vet, the dog was dead. RID: 17290

Click to report rating    1/7/10   1     4     1     1   Being a new dog owner, it's taken me a while to figure out that he DOESN'T need those 'regular' appts they've booked him for. WoW .. kennel cough medicine .. dental appts .. semi-annual check-ups. ALSO, I took my sick cat there. Dr. Nick-something MISDIAGNOSED him & he darn near died! She said he probably caught something off my dog who was ill 3 weeks prior to cat being sick. She wondered why his enzyme counts were so high though. Dr. gave him pills & said HE NEEDED HIS TEETH CLEANED DESPERATELY. Turned out he had many stones blocking his ureter. At least Dr. Kadri admitted he was wrongly diagnosed. Cost $2.000. Now Kadri wants more x-rays to see type of stones. Maybe that's how they find out, but common sense tells me that if he still had that many stones, he'd be blocked for sure. ALSO - WHY wouldn't staff have me bring him in immediately after I told them that I was actually checking to see if he was breathing - nope - wait till 5:00 grrrrrrrrr - I'm looking for a new veterinarian RID: 16044
Click to report rating    1/1/10   2     4     2     1   This group of Vet's almost always recommends very expensive treatment plans, medicines and their expensive food. When I have sought second opinions from another Vet they have always recommended much less expensive treatments, with excellent results. For my next dog I will be going to the other Vet. RID: 15959
Click to report rating    11/10/09   1     2     3     1   Took my dog there Thanksgiving day. Dog was not feeling well. Seen quickly, told to leave dog for blood tests and x-ray for 5-6 hrs. Paid $1007.00 deposit at this time. Called within one hour to come back. Told dog had a very large tumor on liver and had ruptured. Dog bleeding internally, could die at any moment. Advised to leave dog and IF he lived through night, pick him up and take him to own vet. Told he was suffering and we should probably put him down if he lived through night. Opted to take him home as if he was going to die, it would not be in a cage with strangers. Upon leaving, noticed a $100.00 charge for medicine on bill, asked and was handed a weeks worth or antibiotics worth $20.00. Why give a dog that will probably die that night a weeks worth of pills? Only to justify the $100 charge. Dog at own vet next day. Has small tumor but is not and never was bleeding. Had bloat. Was fine next day. 4 1/2 weeks later, dog is fine. Glad we didn't listen, but out $1000.00. RID: 15274
Click to report rating    10/26/09   3     4     3     1   No matter what your pets condition is, they will say your pet needs teeth cleaning. Took our dog there and of course the purpose of the visit was quickly overshadowed by the need to buy their dog food and have her teeth cleaned before they fall out. High pressure at our emotional expense. Talked to our neighbour took their cat their suffering from the bad food leading to kidney failure, his symptoms vomiting, lack of appetite and lethargic. The diagnosis, needs to have her teeth cleaned, $4,000 later the pet died. RID: 15036
Click to report rating    6/15/09   3     3     4     1   OK...I wish I read these comments before I went to willowdale animal hospital this evening. My kitty seemed a bit down and he was vomitting, so I took him in. I was fine with the $114 emergency care charge (no problems with that). But...and this is the honest truth (no exagerations!!!), I was told my cat needed intensive care, fluids, x-rays, blood tests, fluids (the works!!). The first 24 hours were going to cost me $1,800 to $2,400 and every additional day $200 to $600 . I said that that was too expensive and I couldn't afford it. She said well she didn't care about my finances, her concern was for my cat!?!?!!? I said forget it...then she came back with a bill for $475 (every included). I said fine, paid $500 and got the heck out of there. We spoke to one lady waiting at the desk who said she paid $5,000 to have her cat hospitalized last year for 7 days. My kitty is doing fine now...he was traumatized the whole time there. RID: 13186
Click to report rating    6/5/09   2     4     3     1   We used this vet for a number of years before we started learning on our own about animal care. We naively allowed them to over vaccinate, over medicate, and over test our animals, over charging us in the process. In addition, we had a fearless, gregarious cat who was afraid of the technicians at Willowdale (it was the only time we saw him frightened). The receptionists/technicians we dealt with seemed to have no interest in the animals. In our experience the only positives about this vet are 24 hour service and state of the art technology. Click to report rating    4/14/09   2     2     3     1   waited 2.5 days for dispensing of proper meds for female beagle urinary tract infection. Cost was $152 at the hospital. Finally got the meds at pharmasave for $42. Significant saving. Vet went on days off and did not refer the to another vet. The prescribed meds were also not available in Canada. Very poor rating here. Currently looking to old vet in Nova Scotia to treat. Costs in Ontario is out to lunch. Have to treat for cushings disease and will be a lot lower to diagnose and treat in the maritime provinces. RID: 12425
Click to report rating    2/8/09   1     3     1     1   I put up with this hospital for more than 5 years before I finally realized that my dog and I deserved better. I felt the veterinarian (Dr. Bloom) was too pushy and often coerced me into paying for procedures that were unnecessary. EVERY single time I took my dog there, the vet insisted I do a blood test, fecal flotation and urinalysis, even if I had just brought my dog in less than a month ago. He talked down to me like I was an idiot and that I knew nothing. Dr. Kadri, Krebs and Sandu were ok, not great, but ok. Some of the receptionists were nice enough, but there are a few rude ones too. It's not that I don't trust the doctors in the medical aspect, but customer service is a big part too. The newly renovated office looks nice but I don't like the fact that there are stairs as my dog is older with arthritis. I also don't like how they always take my dog away/downstairs to take his blood. The procedures and products and medications are also more expensive than other vets. RID: 11525

Click to report rating    12/17/08   1     4     3     1   I stopped in there to buy some special pet food; my normal vet was sold out. They charged me over $5 more for the exact same bag of food, and were very rude when I asked if they could check to see if they had charged me for the wrong item. I've heard they just rebuilt the clinic so it looked nice enough, but the staff really could use rebuilding too! RID: 10943
Click to report rating    12/4/08   3     4     2     1   I was referred to this clinic because I needed to have a specific blood test done for my geriatric cat with renal failure. The vet I dealt with (name forgotten) did not seem to be as thoroughly educated with regards to renal failure, as I had hoped someone at this clinic would be. Very expensive diagnostic procedures were recommended (X-ray and CAT Scan), both of which would have meant my cat would have to have general anaesthesia. In addition to CRF my cat also has heart issues(HCM). I refused this treatment, as a)the diagnostics would not change the outcome or treatment b)I feared the general anaesthetic may kill him as he had been difficult to revive from anasthesia even when he was much healthier. They also attempted to strongly persuade me to admit my cat to the clinic for 24hr IV. I again refused, as I was very concerned that this may push my cat into congestive heart failure if he was over hydrated. I had to sign a waiver that I had refused treatment. $ 500.00 for bloodwork ! Click to report rating    5/8/08   5     5     5     5   Quality vet care is expensive. This is a great animal hospital & they have been on the news many times for the great things they have done!My personal favourite doctors there are Dr. Ibrahim and Dr. Krebs! RID: 8417
Click to report rating    4/16/08   3     3     2     1   we brought in our cat for an emergency procedure and were given an extremely expensive quote for his care. We were frightened and had no other local options due to the time, so we agreed to leave him in their care. After dealing with 4 different vets in the 2 days he was there we were given vastly different prognosis and time frames for his release. Once he was released we brought him to our local vet for a check-up and they were shocked at the number of tests given and told us many were unnecessary. So, we spent a months salary for 48 hours of care. RID: 8125
Click to report rating    3/4/08   1     1     1     1   Im rating this clinic based on my dealings with Dr.Bloom. Got stuck a few years ago and went there. I dealt with a very uncompassionate, seemingly money driven doctor who amongst other things, wanted to make a "special" cuff for $500.00 to take my dogs blood pressure! Some duplicate charges were also added to my bill (which were removed after I pointed them out- they said it was a computer glitch). I did deal with another vet during my dogs stay there- Dr.Sandhu (?sp) who seemed sincere and helpful- as did the receptionists- but I rate the clinic with lowest score possible and say BEWARE because of my dealings with Dr. Bloom. Click to report rating    10/21/07   1     3     3     1   I decided to ignore the previous comments on this site and did stop by with my new puppy which I got from the pound. He had all his vaccines and was neutered (soluble stiches.) Upon arriving the vet asked about the dog and when it got neutered. We told him "two weeks" and he asked, "are the stitches bothering him, is he licking them" We told him "no" and he immediately says "i can take them out, I'll take them out". Then he moved on from there by highly recommending bloodwork. At that point I told him we're leaving the stiches on because it's not bothering him. Then he says "well, those soluble stitches..." *rocks his head with uncertainty* . He then really pushed us to buy their medicated dog food. What gives? The whole thing felt really uncomfortable because they make you feel guilty about not spending the money on your pet. This is my first pet and thus my first vet experience and it was really negative. Click to report rating    8/2/07   2     4     2     1   We were quite disappointed with the care at Willowdale Animal Hospital. They recommend unnecessary (and expensive) products and procedures, such as eye ointment for a topical problem that cleared up on its own in two days, or overnight hospitalization and IV for a cut on leg. We were also subjected to a high-pressure sales pitch to feed the Hills food that they sell in the clinic (which has terrible ingredients). The staff were not particularly approachable and the appointments behind schedule. We have chosen a different vet in the area instead and will use them for emergencies only if necessary (since they are open overnight). RID: 5463
