I worked with clients over 50 years, directly and via telephone. Our business was successful because we never treated our clients like a few of the front desk staff treat clients at Meyer. They are rude and argumentative.If it were not for wonderful Dr. Brinkman being such an awesome vet I would not be there

Meyer Vet Clinic is great as long as you avoid having your animals treated by Dr Allen Meyer. Our dog was scheduled for surgery for removal of a benign fatty tumor. Dr Meyer performed the surgery. When I picked her up she was shaved, and had an inscision with 20 staples in an entirely different area. Dr. Brinkman was extremely supportive as she did the correct surgery herself after hours that day. Dr. Meyer's only attempt at contacting me was to have his office staff call me the next day and tell me how sorry he was. A second-hand apology and $100 refund. Dr. Brinkman offers amazing care and love and I trust her explicitly. If it were not for her we would be going elsewhere. Dr. Meyer needs to retire!!

We have been using Meyer Vet Clinic for years, but their quality of care has declined so badly that we no longer use them. Of the three vets, Dr. Brinkman is awesome. Sadly, Dr. Meyer has been practicing so long that he no longer seems to care much about his patients or their human companions. If it were up to him and his indifference, two of our dogs would be dead right now. In one case, Dr. Brinkman provided a second opinion just a couple days after a brief examination and an incorrect diagnoses by Dr. Meyer. She told us bluntly that our dog would not have survived one more day if we had not brought her back in and gotten a correct diagnoses and proper treatment (emergency surgery)! In the case of another of our dogs, Dr. Meyer botched the surgery on her so badly that she had to be rushed back in a couple days later for emergency surgery to correct the mistakes. They were quick to tell us that we wouldn't have to pay for the second surgery or the follow-up care - how generous!

The staff is caring and knowledgeable. Doc has been my vet for over 20 yrs and he or Doctor B are available 24/7. They are always willing to consider alternative treatments if called for and the techs are simply the best! As far as I am concerned, they are the best vet clinic in Cadillac and I trust them 100% with any of my "babies".
