I visited this clinic 2 yrs ago different staff great ver is no longer there found him to be caring and compassionate. Visited a day or so ago ip inquire about a spay surgery for cat nd could not believe what their fees are. Procedure requires 2 visits will not keep animal over night for surgery the next day even if you have to travel a distance. You are paying for 2 visits. The cost is a anywhere from $550 to over $1000 not a complicated surgery. I am not questioning the care just the fees. This clinic for pets with caregivers that are well off and does not help with controlling overpopulation. Great facility but only if you can afford it. Owen sound is a working class city and people should not have to go into debt for care for their pets. I have worked with rescuing cats fit over 30 yrs and with caring vets who understand and help address the problem of overpopulation. More vets need to get on board. You can get great care at low cost at GTAH in collingwood great facility for low c

Dr. Boyd is amazing. My puppy Slater loves her to pieces. I've been treated very well by the clinic staff. While the exam fee is a little steep, it's proven well worth the money for such quality care.

City vet practise high prices but MUCH more limited hours. Even in this area, people still need appointments outside of work hours! But those spots are booked up as much as 2 months in advance. Repro services reputation amongst breeders range from adequate to poor.

Had a wonderful experience with my pet here. The front staff was friendly and informative. The doctor was very caring and thorough and explained everything that was going on. I felt that my old girl was in very capable hands.

dr. Gomez has cared for our cats for some, and brought them both through life threatening situations. Before he joined the practice Dr. Boyd was the caring vet we saw, but in an emergency it was Dr. Gomez, new at the time, who came to our aid. Costs are reasonable, they get the latest technology and will call after hours to do a follow up on a sick animal. Very caring staff. We will not go anywhere else.

Our experience with this pet hospital has always been absolutely wonderful. All of the vets are so well educated and up to date. The staff are friendly, caring and just delightful to deal with and talk to. Our beloved golden retriever has had a couple of challenging health problems. They have been diagnosed quickly and treated successfully much to our relief. The alternative medicine practised has been instrumental in lengthening her life and our enjoyment of her. We have had calls to check up on how she is doing and obvious concern shown by both our vet and staff. We can't speak highly enough of how our dogs and our family have been treated over a span of many years. God bless them!

One if the receptionists is a real snob. Talks down to you. This clinic belongs to the same Grey-Bruce loyalty club. Won't treat your pet if you use another vet. Bring your visa. I think they have a quota of min $300 a visit. They love you if you don't question anything. Totally over- rated.

I have been using Dr. Gomez for the past 3 years since aquiring my little Skeet dog. I have had an appointment with Dr. Boyd as well. They are very kind, and Skeet likes them both. I was shocked by the service I have received from Dr. Gomez. He actually reviews pictures and videos I've sent him by email and calls me after hours with his opinions and advice! He is incredible and so obviously cares about what he's doing! I got expert advice at no cost to me. I'm sorry, but it has been my experience that Veterinary care is very expensive, and quite frankly, unatainable to millions of loving pet owners who simply cannot afford the services. Myself included. I give this clinic the highest possible rating, because they work with their hearts and for all the right reasons. They have a satellite location and unique care opportunities above and beyond just what I've mentioned. Very advanced Vet care.

Dealt with this clinic for over 11 years. I found the service was okay but they seemed to always want to do lots of extra tests. They were a bit pushy on having my dogs on heartworm and flea prevention programs. The care my dogs recieved was good and they were always very kind towards them. Even after visiting this clinic 3 to 4 times (min) a year for over 11 years, the staff never seemed to remember us or our dogs. I never felted totally comfortable with the staff or the clinic. I changed from this vet clinic after I had to let my dog go to Rainbow Bridge. I was very disappointed with the Grey Bruce Pet Hospital lack of sympathy or care when I informed them. It just proved to me that my 11 years of business with them was just that "business", they just didn't seem to care about our dog or what had happened to her. The vet that gave her the after hours appointment and discovered her fatal illness---gave us better service in 2 days than we ever got from this vet in 11 years.
