I tried Kindness Pet Hospital (now called Los Altos Vet) after becoming frustrated with Adobe Vet, right next door. I took my labrador to Adobe several times for ear infections, saw different doctors almost every time, and received only expensive medications for treatment, and no advice on prevention. Dr. Echert of Kindness immediately suspected food allergies, and within a few weeks, we identified the allergy and decreased the frequency of infection. He also demonstrated how to clean my dogs ears, to further prevent infection, something Adobe never did. Adobe would hand me the bottle with a few words about cleaning methods. I have been a happy customer of Kindness, since then. That said, Adobe definitely has a bigger, more high tech hospital with the latest equipment. I would take my pet to Adobe for emergency treatment, but to Kindness for day to day maintenance.
