Click to report rating    12/15/08   1     2     1     2   We took one of our fosters in after a dog fight. The vet said that the muscle was like hamburger meet but he "tried to sew it back together anyway." The dog pulled his drains out the first day and the vet said, just watch them. He went in for a recheck a few days later and the vet said everything was okay. Two days later the dog had filled up with infection. He cleaned it out but never bothered to culture it. The infection ended up being resistant to the antibiotic they had him on and he had to go to our vet and have surgery all over again. All the muscle the other vet sewed together had rotted. They are very unprofessional and don't care. When we contacted them about it they said that medicine is not perfect. They would not return our money even though we are a rescue and can't afford the double bills. The staff is borderline rude as well. We would never recommend ANYONE to them. RID: 10913
Click to report rating    7/4/07   2     3     4     1   WHILE ATTENDING VET CHECKED MY ANIMAL FOR A UNSCHEDULED "WELLNESS EXAM" NOTED INCORRECTLY THAT HE HAD REDDENED <PINK> TO BE ACCURATE SPOTS HERE AND THERE ON HIS SKIN SAID WAS DUE TO MATTING HE HAD HAD IN SPECIFIED LOCATION WHEN IN FACT I KNOW I GROOM HIM AND HAD HIM SINCE A PU HAS SPOTS THAT ARE PINKISH ALL OVER IN DIFFERENT AREAS SORT OF LIKE MY FRECKLES ...HOW ABSURD TO MAKE PRESUMPTIONS THAT ARE NOT ACCURATE!...ALSO HAVE PETCO GROOMER SHELLEY AS A WITNESS TO THE TRUTH;)ANYWAY HE THEN PROCEEDED TO POKE THA ANIMALS **** OUT AS HE WAS SMILING VERY CRUDE! I RESPONDED WITH A "how rude!" THEN WHILE WE WERE (ONLY SCHEDULED TO GET A RABIES SHOT)WAITING FOR PAPERWORK THE ASSISTANT TRIES TO COME INTO OUR EXAM ROOM WITH A HUGE CAT! I SAID EXSCUSE ME BUT WE'RE STILL IN HERE...{SHE} SEEMED TO BE ANNOYED...AND SNORTED AWAY...WHAT I FEEL IS THAT THE VET WAS RUDE AND PRESUMPTIOUS, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL LACKING THE ELEMENT FOR DIAGNOSIS BASED ON FACT INSTEAD OF ARROGANT ASSUMPTION.
