STRONGLY advise against vet! After xray I was told my 13 yr. old poodle with terrible cough has enlarged heart and nothing could be done but $46 "cough suppressant" Tried to give her syrup but the taste must have been horrible, finally got it in and hoped at least her cough would be better, but much worse! The next night we soaked syrup on crackers... again no help. Called and asked for refund but refused, suggested syrup be custom formulated with "gravy" flavor for $$ or come back for more tests! Friend has dog with same condition & on heart med. that also helps cough and works well. This vet only wants $$ and had no interest in helping. I asked to speak to MGR, waited 2 days and never got call. Was refused refund so called my credit card company and they immediately credited me for the medication and said that they would not even allow the vet to dispute the credit. I will take my dog to a vet that cares more about helping a sick animal than getting rich off of their owners!
