We've been taking our pets to Dr. Burton for 25 years. He is always knowledgeable and kind, never ONCE have we seen him be anything put polite and pleasant. When we've been forced to chose other vets when he was not available, we have been disappointed. We think he's an outstanding vet and a great person. Recommend him.

Mark Burton and his staff are outstanding. Like all businesses they get busy at certain times. We have used his services for over 20 years, and the quality of his caring staff and Dr. Burton have always been excellent.

I have read over the other comments. I guess it just depends on what you bring your pet in for. My cat was allergic to fleas and the staff gave her a shot. The next morning a patch of hair was gone from the injection site over her shoulder that was the size of a 50 cent piece. Im not sure if what they gave her burned from the inside or how this occurred (they didnt want to address it) but they said to put neosporin on it. Two weeks later the skin still resembles raw meat. Now I have to spend more money fixing their mistake. I am not happy at all. The cortisone shots shes had in the past never had this kind of reaction. They called the injection DEX/Depo. I think it was the wrong stuff for her and now they wont own up to it. When I asked if I was to bring her back in, they said no. Referred me someplace else. I wish I knew how much pain my cat has had to endure because of this shot. I wont be going back.

I went to Dr Burton for several years with 2 of our family pets. He seemed cold and rushed, cuts you off, and doesn't listen to your concerns. Not to mention he runs too many tests. It's plain to see it's about the $$$! Very sad! If you want good service and a vet that cares, head down the street to Animal Medical!

Dr. Burton has been caring for our pets for well over 20 years. He is friendly and takes the time to discuss treatment options. He has always provided quality care and genuinely seems to care about the animals. I would not take my pets anywhere else. Prices are reasonable. There has been some recent staff turnover, and the new staff do not seem to be as knowledgeable as the previous staff, but they are friendly and helpful.

I have been taking my dogs here for over 8 years. Dr Burton has always been compassionate and thorough. His staff has turned over in the last year and the new ones are not as sharp as the last ones. I'm hoping that will imporve with time.

I left Dr. Burton after a lack of quality care, constantly "needs more tests" and has a sharp tongue. He is taking my grandma to the cleaners and has no compassion for getting back to her about "tests". He is in it for the $$$$$.

Please do not take your animal here. Dr. Burton does not support his staff (no I am not an employee - he has a high employee turnover) nor does he return CRITICAL information. He lies to cover his butt at the expense of your pet. His actions are responsible for the death of at least one animal - an animal that suffered needlessly because his staff refused to communicate with the pet's owner. Rude and disrespectful.
