My wife and I have used Dr Todd Friedland for 30 years. The care given to our pets has been excellent.

Prices are way too high, and the quality of care given is way too low. Their bottomline goal is to increaset revenue. My dog was brought for lyme disease and given the run around and dog continually got worse because the amount of amoxicillin he was prescribed was way too much and it actually made him sicker, prolonging his illness and shortening his life. I have since switched to Eastbrook Animal Hospital and they are very personable, fairly priced and accomodating. Dr Mitterling shows true compassion for his profession and animals unlike Todd Friedland.

I have 3 cats and 1 dog. I used North Windham after trying several other vets in the area. I found them to be pricey, but sensitive and they provided excellent care for all my animals. They even came to my house to euthanize my terminally ill cat who I didn't want to traumatize by taking into the office. I would recommend them, not as the best vet ever, but as being my choice in the area.

We have been using Todd Friedland's office, for seven years for our five animals. On our last visit in 7/07 our dog had a serious back injury and required to stay at the hosp. for 7 days. The final bill was for $1200.....I was a little surprised at this! We asked to do a payment plan for a few weeks to pay off the bill and was told absolutely "NO WAY". The most he would arrange was $600 one week and $600 for the next week. After explaining our financial situation in this matter he would not make any exceptions and would not allow us to take our dog home until the bill was settled; essentially he held our dog hostage. We have been loyal customers for seven years and we feel as if we have been treated very poorly and rudely by Todd and one of his receptionists'. Not only is this office the most expensive. in the area apparently they no longer practice animal or human compassion. So if you want spend your premium dollars for discount care I highly recommend Todd's office.
