Dr Buchoff butchered my cat's mouth. It was my first visit with him. He told me my cat needed two teeth pulled and he could do it today. Two teeth turned into six. When I took him home my cat was in agony. I drove 2 hours back to the vet. Never looked in his mouth and gave me drugs. The drugs did not help and the cat was worse. I called the vet and asked if maybe the stitches were bothering him. They said they did not use stitches. I asked about the X-rays and they said they did not have dental x-ray equipment but they will soon.I immediately looked for a dental specialist. He confirmed that cat was in horrible shape. Broken teeth from the extractions. Large gaping holes where it should have been stitched . Roots that were left in and to top it off a piece of the cats bone was sticking through the jaw. It took 2,600.00 of microsurgery to repair the damage. It's like a 5 year old pulled out my cats teeth. Spare yourself a potential emotional and financial tragedy and find another vet.

Dr. Buchoff is now in Little Falls, NJ. He seems like a nice guy, but very expensive visits (especially the home visits -- whew). Also, he seems a bit forgetful at times, and lacks focus. I had to remind him a couple of times on some major important points. Something didn't jive with me, so I haven't gone back to him (last visit Dec 2010).

If your pet needs a serious operation, don't go here. Chinese herbs and lavendar oil will not heal your pet. Expensive idealogy, and I unfortunately, join those who have lost their pet in their care.
