Our Golden was sick and our vet sent us here for an ultrasound on Friday. They kept her overnight. Had to take her to emer vet over weekend and she had to be put to sleep. I was not impressed with the level of care and knowledge of these folks. I will not take my animals here ever.

My regular vet referred me to Dr. Rudd at Braelinn Village Animal Hospital for more extensive testing on my dog. At first, I was impressed by their thoroughness in attempting to treat my dog. When my dog’s health continued to decline, exploratory surgery was performed and the lab results confirmed Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Dr. Rudd would not accept these results and insisted my dog had liver cancer. A feeding tube was inserted to assist my dog in getting the nutrition and medicine he needed to treat the IBD. The tube began leaking and on four occasions this was brought to the attention of Dr. Rudd and his staff and they would only say they didn’t know why it was leaking. The tube finally came completely out of my dog’s stomach and he developed peritonitis. I believe my dog passed away untimely and needlessly from this deadly disease because of the mismanagement of the feeding tube. If you love and care for your pets, please do not take them to Dr. Rudd at his facility.

I have used every veterinarian on staff (5 ) and they are all excellent. They are very reassuring and efficient, friendly and caring. They will be my vets for life!
