These people made me pay for a mistake that they made. I was willing to split the cost of THEIR MISTAKE, but they would not even consider it. Had to pay an extra $80 to get my pooches ashes back. They need to take COMPLETE responsibility. After reading other reviews I think this may have been an intentional act. Up charging people is just WRONG.

This was my vet for 10 years and I'm sorry now to have to write a negative review. My dog died last month from an intestinal blockage that was misdiagnosed as pancreatitis not once but during 3 separate visits at Chanticleer. He didn't need to die. The 24 hour emergency hospital he was transferred to and died at 12 hours later says so. Not only was he misdiagnosed for 5 days while his intestines rotted, but tests were not ordered or were botched that could have saved him. After 5 days of misdiagnosing him Chanticleer finally diagnosed the toy blocking his intestine and removed the blockage without removing enough rotted intestine. 12 hours after that surgery the emergency hospital Chanticleer transferred him to in the middle of the night wanted to redo the surgery because they believed rotted intestine was left in him and was killing him. They said at that point even with surgery he had less than a 30% chance of surviving so we didn't put him through it. If Chanticleer had prop
