estimate was extremely high for a two night hold-over so we picked our cat up after one night to lower the expense. Surprise, surprise the bill went from the estimated $650 to $805 - mystical magical billing.

Dr. Beyer is the best. She saved my dog's life after being hit by a car. They always are able to see me when I am available to come in, and the prices are comparable to the care my dog receives. My friends and family trust them with their pets as well.

I have been going to Greenfields for over 20 years. They have always been professional and caring. The prices are not cheap, but I am willing to pay for A+ care. The techs are always nice and the place is always clean. I only have good things to say about them.

Went there for years, care and attentiveness has progressively declined. Would not continue to reccomend this facility to family or friends and have chosen to go elsewhere.

Greenfields saw my 15 yo cat, who had chronic renal failure. She wasn't eating well and was getting a little weak, so she was admitted for 2 days of IV fluids. When I took her she was a little weak, but was aware, walking, jumping and using the litter box. I was told that Dr. Lafferty would call and update me on her condition. She called the next 2 mornings and stated that my cat was doing very well, she was eating and was very alert. I was suprised, as I thought perhaps she would not do well because of her age. This actually gave me hope that she would recover. I picked her up and drove home (2 miles). I was shocked at the state of my cat. She tried to jump on my bed, as usual, but could not manage it. I had her 15 years and never heard her sneeze. She was sneezing and her eyes looked cloudy. She was so weak she could barely stand. I never received info on vital stats or testing done while she was at G.V. I had her euthanized at another vets - when he saw her he stated

I took a cat there for an emergency visit. He was there three days with a Urinary blockage. I stated that this was a stray and I wasn't prepared to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for him. I was told by one of the owners that it would only be a few hundred, certainly not thousands. The final bill after a three day stay was over 800 dollars and they tried on top of it to sell me another 100 dollars in pain meds. It would have been a third of that with my regular vet, even counting the emergency fee. The most incredible thing was that I saw one of the owners and yet she told me she had no idea what the charges would be for the services she was performing because the computer was shut off for the evening. The *OWNER* didn't know her own charges?? Needless to say, while the vet care was competent, they simply didn't 'get it' about people not always having unlimited funds to pay for veterinary services. At no time during his stay was I called with an estimate of charges.
