Staff-Dr Dean.My dog had possible burr in her ear, and allergic dermatitis from a visit to a grassy area a week earlier. She needed help asap as it was getting infected and painful. Dr D was kind enough to stay open longer to see her-but that's where it went wrong, as he was in too much of a hurry to examine her ear. He gave her some shots and prescribed a months worth of oral meds for both the dermatitis and her ear. When I asked if he could look inside it he got annoyed and told me to come back in a month if it didn't improve. When it didn't improve, we went to another clinic. The new vet said her ear was so badly infected that it had shut down in front of the eardrum so he couldn't remove whatever was in it. He flushed it and gave her numerous medications for home including ear drops and an ear flush. He was surprised that Dr. D. hadn't done the same earlier. Had it been treated properly then it would have been soon enough to prevent the damage done and possible surgery to fix it.
