Asked the vet over the phone if they have a guarantee on their vaccinations, basically stating that if they give my pup a needle, he won’t die, they couldn’t guarantee anything.. That drew a red flag in my eyes, then when I arrived they asked that I sit in the room.. We found out that our puppy only legally needs Rabies, which he was too young to take, he’s 10 weeks, and he needs to be 14, so we were ready to leave.. Then the ladies at the front desk asked that I pay for an examination, which was not even done, they didn’t look at the pup other than the vet petting him when she walked in.. Very nice Vet, high charging, un-delivering, facility. I was asked not to return when I refused to pay their made up $56 charge… I happily left that facility free of charge
Would not recommend anyone come to this facility

I had my cat here to have his claws clipped. Afterward my cat acted as though in pain. Took him back and they examined him again but gave him nothing for pain. It took 3 trips there and finally they gave him some meds. BUT they did push for me to buy unnecessary things. Overall there are better and worse vets out there.

Excellent staff. Of course, they want you to have every treatment available. It is necessary to just say "no" to giving my dog more perks than I get.

Overpriced, paid $400 for my dogs yearly vaccination and examination. Went else where this year and was charged $150.

I take my Doberman to this animal hospital and they are great the staff are wonderful and always take time to explain things very clean love Dr Varley it is very pricey but i guess you only get what you pay for i have heard horror stories about other vet clinics so i will stay with this hospital as they do go above and beyond the call of duty they treat my dog if as it was there own which is great very loving and caring.

This clinic has become a "Pet Vet" clinic, so I give it a slightly lower review than I used to when it was more independant, but that might be unfair (I just like independants). Our cat, 2 dogs and (currently) 1 foster dog all seem to love it there. The clinic is very fair with billing and understanding that sometimes (unfortunately) money is an issue. They deal well with last minute changes and pet personalities. Tonight, for example (the reason I decided to write a review) our cat for some reason freaked out on the way to the vet and pooped and peed in his cage. They still gave him his booster shots as scheduled, helped clean him up, cleaned his cage for us, and loaned us a towel.
We always feel special, known, and welcome at the clinic. The receptionists and vet techs really make the place special. PetVet really know how to hire good people. Our favourite vet is Dr. Tanya Varley who is ever-patient and knowledgeable, but everyone we have seen there is good.
Thanks Morningside!

Friendly, caring Vets. Staff wonderful. I took my sick cat there to Dr. Baroughi and Dr. Varley, they spent a lot of time explaining my options and the costs. Very appreciated. My kitty is great now!

First of all ... this clinic is under NEW OWNERSHIP! Dr. Gillick SOLD Morningside Animal Clinic and Pet Vet Hospitals took over in October 2009 and have changed the name to Morningside Pet Hospital. Dr. Foster and Dr. Gillick, as well as all the other doctor's are gone. Dr. Gillick opened the TVEH - Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital which is a 24 hour emerg and referral clinic. With the new ownership and ALL NEW STAFF, the place is amazing. Brenda is the person I usually deal with and she is fabulous. I would recommend going to this clinic, they also have payment plans and good prices. I would encourage everyone to try out the NEW Morningside Pet Hospital.

My parents and I both have 2 dogs and they all go to doctor Gillick and co. It's been over 12 years now and we're still with them. After I moved out of my parent's home 6 years ago, to downtown toronto, I continue to make the trip up to the Morningside animal clinic. Without a doubt, I would never change my vet. They had done nothing but GREAT things for my girls. I've recommended many people to them and they all have the same things to say. A friend of mine was /having a lot of trouble with his dog and couldn't get an answer from any other vet. So he went to dct gillick and his dog is all better now.

Was not impressed.Really pushes surgery $$$$$$.I got 2 other vet opinions and all agreed that surgery was not required.I really did not feel that they looked out for the best interest of my pet.Highly over rated.

Dr. Gillick and associates specialize in internal medicine as well as run a general practice. They are a true tribute to the profession. They treat clients and patients with respect. The prices are reasonable and they are not looking to upsell. Most importantly, they got the diagnosis correct and helped extend our dog's life. It was a true pleasure dealing with this clinic.
