Very nice vet. I went here based on above users rating referred by their dog walker. Felt like office was old fashioned in the sense it was to much cross information and treatment going on. I guess I am also comparing them to my last vet which is now 150 miles away. But they were incredible and much more reasonably priced. I will continue to use them for now. But have been hearing a lot of great things about the practice, methodology, and over all standard of care and technology about the vet in Solomons island. More $ but justifiably so. It might make the drive worthwhile. I am in the "human" medical field and just felt it was not up to the standard of care I expect or desire for my pet. Also felt like I was being multi-tasked and I knew it, I want to feel like we are the ONLY client they have or are interested in during our appointment time. (I understand when emergencies happen), but w/o that this is how I treat my patients and how I want to be treated as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Rebecca Gurshman as your veterinarian. I switched from my current vet to her by referral from my dog walker who works there, Holly. My experience wasn't clinical at all. The entire staff treated my two year old dog like he was my child. He has been going to the same vet since I adopted him from SPCA. I switched because my current vet couldn't assist with his vision problems. She nailed it and referred me to a specialist and I am so thankiful. If I didn't see her, I would have not known that he is slowly going blind!!! Anyone who resides in Anne Arundel, Prince Georges, or Calvert County should know this lady is fabulous and so worth the drive. She is the best!
