The people you meet at the desk seem to genuinely love animals. However, the motivation of the ownership seems to have forgotten why they went into the business. Money and as much as you can make seems be the only goal now. Bills seem to get pumped up without even asking the owner. The "loss leaders" of grooming and boarding seem to be offered at better than usual prices to get you in the door. But the care is horrible and expensive. Grooming is not well-done and never board your pet here! I finally confided my doubts to an animal-lover/activist as to why she didn't go to Town n' Country and she confimed my own experiences. She had brought a dog in for tests. The animal was forgotten about for a day and never fed. Boarded pets come home dirty and upset and sick and no one seemed to have noticed. In addition, it can take an hour to get your pet for pickup...even when the time has been set and you call in advance. Don't fall for the bait of inexpensive boarding!
