This vet told me my dog had an enlarged heart and wanted to put him on medications for the rest of his life, and my dog was only 5 years old at the time. Went to Richland Animal clinic instead where they said there wasn't anything wrong with his heart after Xrays--he's alive and well and 9 years old now. This vet also wanted to put my other older dog on strong pain meds for her back, but there wasn't anything wrong with her back; she just had mild arthritis, which I fixed up extremely well using Springtime Joint Health pills I bought online.

My last visit with Dr. King over at Bellevue AH left me with a severely poisoned cat. The receptionist there told me that I could split a box of large doses of Advantix, the flea prevention medicine, among my cat and dogs. As it turns out, Advantix should not be put on cats (because it extremely toxic to them!) and neither should doses be split up, as this can cause under dosages and overdosage poisoning. That was what the very nice doctors over at Harpeth Valley Animal Hospital told me. They also told me that they would do everything in their power to fix my cat up again, and they kept to their promise. My cat was up and meowing before the day had ended! I'm glad I visitd Harpeth Valley. They seem much more trustworthy. I am also making this hospital foot the bill for my kitty's medical treatments!
