I have been taking my dogs to the Bear Valley Veterinary Clinic for nearly ten years, and they have always treated me and my pets with care and respect. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I recommend them highly. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and I have trusted them with my babies many times. They are always available to answer any questions that I have, and they are always great about showing me how to care for my pets "hands-on" when health issues arise that I have little experience with. I hope to work with them for many years to come as my dogs go through all of the cycles of their lives.

I had to put my 20 year old cat down at their facility and the staff was terrible. They made me pay BEFORE they put him down while I sat and cried they were asking me for my credit card. He was about 5 lbs. at the time and they charged me a total of 328.05 to put him down! They charged a fee of 137.70 JUST to have the ashes returned to me, 105.35 for the euthanasia and 85.00 for the cremation. Why would they charge 137.70 to have the ashes returned AFTER the 85.00 cremation fee! I think they have you pay beforehand because they know you are upset and won't question their ridiculous prices! The staff was all about the money and showed little emotion for my loss. I WILL NEVER go back to that clinic again. It would've been cheaper to go to an emergency vet clinic and the staff probably would've been more compassionate.
