Although I don't know the practice in question the decision to quarantine after an animal bite is made by the Health department. All health professionals, including veterinarians, are mandated reporters of animal bites. I do hope the dog in question did not get tested for rabies as this involves euthanasia.

I took my miniature rat terrier there and she got scared and bit them and the vet called animal conrol and i had to let the kennel keep her for 10 days and the bite wasnt hard!My dog has already been tested for rabies and the lady knows it she is rude so dont EVER go to her she is rude and annoying!
