I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Charlie Duffy and his practice. I have been bringing my Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs to Dr. Duffy since 2006, when I brought my first dog to him for Penn Hip x-rays (he's one of the few vets who does PennHip in CT). Dr. Duffy is great with pets and people alike, fantastic bedside manner, and he truly does listen to his clients. What I really appreciate about him and his practice in this day and age, is that they don't just try to force unnecessary tests just to pad the invoice. VERY different from all the corporately-owned and controlled veterinary practices who have been bought up, or are part of the mega chains. Dr. Duffy owns his practice, and has no one to answer to but himself and especially, his CLIENTS! He is extremely knowledgeable about orthopedic issues, he's a great surgeon, and after 35+ years of owning multiple dogs, he's simply put the best vet I've ever worked with.

I love this place. They are kind and caring. Dr. and Mrs. Duffy are wonderful caring people. Everything here is open and when i first went there they let me see where they would take the dog and explined everything they were doing. I really felt that these are trustworthy people. I would recccomend them.

Dr. and Dr. Duffy and their associates are not only outstanding in their field, but have a bedside manner of compassion and kindness which is rare to find these days. They explain each detail of the exam or procedure and are "child friendly" in that they allow my young children to participate in the exam and tell them about what they are doing to the dog and why. Their price point is excellent for the services rendered. My one criticism would be that the front office staff is at times abrupt, lacking a friendly welcome upon arrival. My family drives 45 minutes and passes five other Veterinary Clinics in order to take our pet to see these terrific Veterinarians!! Kudos to the Norwalk Veterinary Hospital.
