We’ve been clients since 1999 and appreciate the quality of service provided, first for our brother-and-sister kitties who passed away at ages 19 and 20 (a testament to the expertise of our vet Dr. Stacey Karzenski Pedersen), and now for our 3-year-old brother kitties. We understand that with quality care comes a commensurate cost and we have willingly paid that to assure our pets are well taken care of.
The staff - from the front desk, to the vet techs, to the veterinarians - are very professional, caring and knowledgeable. The facilities are clean and odor-free, with separate exam rooms for cats (including comfy towels on exam tables) and dogs. Our appointments are always on time, with enough time provided so we never feel rushed. From our first visit, on the recommendation of a good friend and “cat lady,” we have never considered going anywhere else. We have found a veterinary practice we trust and whom we know will always have our babies’ best possible interest at heart.

All of the above comments are spot on. Only once in YEARS has another practice been used afterwards for a "second opinion". Yes any veterinarian must earn $$$ - not on our pet watch, because 1) who fails to check the entire animal, 2) suggests euthanasia 3) then does expensive tests?! Retirement and closure are in order here. From One Who Prefers To Highly Rate!

This place is more expensive than the Emergency Vet. I had a direct comparison when, a few years apart from each other, two of my cats had urinary obstructions. One cat, it happened on a Friday night, and he spent two nights at the E-vet. The other cat, same thing, happened on a weekday morning - - same tests, same procedures, same two night hospital stay and it cost about $500 more at Capitaland. Thank God for pet insurance, but I was dumbfounded at the cost difference. In the time we used them for our vet, there were some individual vets that we liked, but they all left. I'd try to make appointments with specific vets for consistency, but then I'd end up with someone else when I went in. The reception staff is largely inept, and easily confused. The vet techs, however, were always good.

This place is a business, not a place that cares for animals. Money comes first to them. They will do anything to get your money and make it common practice to guilt you into paying for non-necessary medications and procedures. They are incompetent. If you love your pet, go somewhere else!!

Altough the staff is very friendly I didn't care for the verterinary care at this vet. I've had a number of issues here one of which was a 4 month old puppy that had pneumonia in all but one of the chambers in his lungs...I brought him to the vet because he had been coughing a lot and I was told he had been treated for kennel cough...When the vet listened to him she said he sounded fine and I asked if they would do an xray just to be sure and she said no...Needless to say I left to run to the store a day or two later and when I came home the dog was dead. The vet's office did an autopsy and said he died of pneumonia. I've taken another dog there as well and he ended up dying from something they missed as well. Needless to say I no longer take my pets there and they are all still alive!
