Took our 3 year old beagle after he seemed to have a stomach illness. Vet ran blood test, said he would call the next day, but said it was probably because he needed his teeth cleaned. He did not call the next day, a staff member called the third day, said probably small infection, vet would call fourth day. Vet did not call.Took blood results to another vet who IMMEDIATELY noticed how out of range the blood cell counts were, and started treating right away. We lost our beagle after a 3 week fight, but just have to wonder had we had that extra week, that the incompetentcy of PCAH beena bit more concerned, would there have been a fighting chance.
