Dr. Kirwan has cared for our cats for over a decade and she, her staff and everyone associated with this practice have been, kind, compassionate, absolutely professional and thoroughly capable for the entire time we've been associated with them.

We were referred to Dr.Kirwan to manage an unknown health crisis that was crippling my 3 y/o English bulldog. We presented Dr. Kirwan with a complex set of symptoms that included weight loss, neurological deficits, orthopedic issues and gastro intestinal problems. My dog was in a lot of pain, and was very guarded. I told the Doctor that he would snap at anyone who touched his hips. Her physical exam was limited to listening to his heart beat and breathing. I had suggested that we muzzle him so a more complete assessment could be performed, but she steered the diagnosis to a GI issue. She then sold me a case of $30 bland dog food and various meds that included 10 Imodium pills at a 1.80 apiece. So I walk out $183 poorer treating a GI issue. 6 weeks later I put my beloved friend down for metastatic bone cancer. Lessons learned; 1-If you go at closing time, DON'T EXPECT a full workup. 2-Buy your Imodium at CVS. 3-If your dog is in great pain capable of snapping, find another vet.
