I am very disgusted with the staff here. We thought we liked them but we were wrong. They treated us terribly when our dog had a serious problem for 3 weeks and they were treating him for something he did not have, meanwhile his problem was getting worse. We went in again to say there treatments were not working for 3 weeks and we believed it was something else. The response we got was "Well we can schedule you for the 22nd" Which is 2.5 weeks away! You've got to be kidding me. We said to them to send the records to Quakertown and that we will not be back. Quakertown was VERY helpful to us and began treating him for his actual problem! Very displeased and disgusted by the Macungie Animal Hospital.

When we first started going here we were very happy with the practice. They had just opened and were quite professional and attentive. After a while, it was clear that the vets were not as knowledgeable as we had first thought- my husband and I both have doctorates in scientific fields so we are qualified to assess their competence. Also, the office manager was always rude, though most of the other staff were not. The prices seem a little high as well when compared to other practices.

I found your office manager to be extremely rude. I am surprised at all the high ratings they have received. Their rooms are fairly small and I feel their charges are on the high end.

Having moved around a lot, I've seen several vets and I can easily say that this is the nicest practice I've ever been to. Appointments are easy to make, they have great hours, and they don't keep you waiting. Their office is lovely and well-maintained and they have an on-site lab which means you get most test results back immediately. The greatest thing is their staff. Not only is everyone knowledgeable, but they are also very compassionate. Every vet, every tech, and every receptionist all treat you like you are their most important customer and that your pet is their pet. Since finding this place a few years ago, my dogs no longer act nervous at the vet's office; they seem happy to be there.

When I moved to the Macungie area I was in search for a vet that I felt comfortable with and who were personable, warm and fuzzie.After trying a few vets I finally found Macungie. They are exactly what I was looking for in a Veterinary Practice.They are welcoming,compassionate,knowledgeable, and fabulous diagnosticians. I would recommend them to anyone looking for fabulous vets!!

Dr. Gigliotti, Animal Chiropractor, is wonderful! Her caring concern and professional expertise with dogs (and their humans) is excellent. Her work with our Labs made a huge difference in their lives. She's the greatest!

Macungie Animal Hospital has the absolute best, most caring Vets. When my dog had back problems and ultimately back surgery, Dr. Hernandez called me every day, including Saturday night and Sunday to check on me and my dog. After the surgery, Dr. Soares came to my house to take the staples out and do cold laser treatments. They have continuously gone above and beyond what I would ever expect a vet (or human doctor for that matter) to do. They also have a Chiropractor, Dr. Gigliotti who is fantastic as well. I highly recommend Macungie Animal Hospital. They are the absolute best!

MAH is by far the best animal hospital I have ever been to. I recently took my two cats in for their yearly wellness visit and could not be happier! Dr. Soares and the rest of her staff are courteous and professional. She answered all of my questions and was very attentive to my two babies. Also, the fees are very reasonable, the place is spotless, and they have the most state of the art equipment that I have encountered outside of an emergency facility.

Incredible team, state-of-the-art hospital, fantastic vet. I have never been to a vet hospital that was so well staffed. They are friendly, caring and Dr. Soares is definitely the best vet I have ever taken any of my pets to. I was referred to MAH by two ladies who clean my chimney when we started talking about the other place I went to. I was having problems there and didn't know where to go. They told me about MAH and now I'm hooked! I'm so glad I switched. I'll never go anywhere else with my pets.

Recently my dog, a lhasa Apsa, was attacked by a big dog and had severe injuries which required him to undergo 2 surgeries and a VERY lengthy hospital stay. Dr. Soares and the staff at Macungie Animal Hospital were fantastic. They took great care of him, put up with me calling at least twice a day, and was a blessing to us financially also. It was horrible going through this ordeal, but they made it alot easier by taking such good care of Sparkey, who by the way, is doing great now.

We have been to several vet practices and our visit here was extremely positive for our dog and us. The staff is kind and caring. We would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Nancy Soares is absolutely THE BEST vet ever! She's sensative not only to the pets she treats, but to the owners feelings for their pets as well. She has saved the life of one of our cats at least twice. She's so good we have followed her from her first position with a local vet (which was only 5 minutes from our home), to another position with another vet (which was 30 minutes away from our home), while in the process of opening the Macungie Animal Hospital. Now that MAH is open, we are closer to home again and have Dr. Soares full time. With 6 cats, she sees a lot of us. She treats her own staff very well, many of them following her in her moves. The facility is top notch, state of the art. She is reasonably priced, although for the kind of care she gives, I would gladly pay more. We wish Dr. Soares and the entire staff of Macungie Animal Hospital the best of luck in their new home!
