cat in failing health for 3-4 weeks after switching to Iams food. loss of muscle mass with episodes of 'staring'. showed vet printout of symptoms from other pet owners, was 'thrown' across the table and disregarded stating Iams and store brands are good. explained cat had decreased urine, and made vet aware of all history [no health concerns] after 'exam', "cat appears healthy". vet started recommending shots. [no way] no temp was ever taken. well, the next day i found out through another vet cats cannot be only on dry food [8 yrs] he was dehydrated and needed to eat meat. this is how they stay hydrated. switched to Evo and canned Call of the Wild. "Smart Water" used also instead of plain bottle water. within 4-5 days, Big Guy was feeling good and running around. now after 3 weeks he is his old self [but muscle is slow to grow back]. i know in my heart that my cat was dying, i could see and feel it. what a difference a vet makes. i do not advise this clinic for cat care.
