My pet returned home with a completely bloody foot after someone attempted to trim his nails. Only 2 nails were clipped out of 18 - and blood gushed! MERCY!

My dog had surgery here last Friday for a mast cell tumor on her back leg. She has a 6 inch incision and about a 4 inch wide margin around the incision. First of all they sent us home with the wrong dosage of pain medicine. Took until that evening for a return phone call regarding the medicine. She should have had 100mg tablets and they only sent us home with 75mg. I don't know what happened to my dog there but she is not the same dog that I dropped off in the morning. She hides under the table, she doesn't want to go outside to go to the bathroom. She walks around with her tail down between her legsm I'm still having a hard time getting her to eat. I believe some how they traumatized my dog. If only the $700 I paid would give me my dog back. I am only going back there to have her stitches removed and I will go back to our original vet.

The "technicians" here are very poorly educated and have temper problems. I could hear a tech in the back screaming profanity at a dog who would not stand still for her. I asked my tech about that girl and she said that she is always like that - sometimes worse. I will never take my pet back to this place - I cannot imagine my dog being treated that way by a veterinary professional. The doctor was nice, but very young and inexperienced. Also, trying to call them or get a call back is almost impossible because their receptionists are either too busy to keep track of everything or are unable to comprehend what customers need. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THEY KILLED MY DOG. THEY WOULD NOT FOLLOW THROUGH AFTER HER SURGERY. WHEN I BROUGHT HER BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO SAY SHE WAS STILL SICK, THEY JUST KEPT TELLING ME TO GIVE IT ANOTHER WEEK WITHOUT LOOKING AT HER. I ENDED UP SOMEWHERE ELSE AND BY THEN IT WAS TOO LATE. INFECTION HAD ENDED UP IN HER BLOOD STREAM.MY BABY WAS 6 YEARS OLD. BANFIELD IS A TEACHING CLINIC AND IT'S NOT THAT I MIND THAT, BUT THEY REALLY NEED TO LISTEN AND FOLLOW THROUGH.I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

They were friendly and followed up on my puppy. I did end up going elsewhere however only because I found somewhere MUCH cheaper and still just as good.
