Have been a customer with the clinic for over 14 years and have had enough. It has gone full circle from a great business to a money hungry, don't care what you think Trumpville! I have had a few bad vet visits and stopped going since the amazing vets that were there moved back east and now...ID SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!
They have raised prices over past 3 years dramatically and the final straw was when they refused to stop asking so much personal information each time I buy dog food. Why does my file need to be updated...why do I need a file? They say it is required but not by any credit card company I know. And as far as the fair trade commission I lodged a complaint with yesterday, they cannot refuse you service because you don't want to disclose personal information.
Oh and to the RUDE manager that called me to justify this behavior...you suck at your job

Although I have used this clinic years, there have been several incidents where my pets had been misdiagnosed (correctly diagnosed at other locations including Emergency clinic). They also have insisted to keep my pet overnight for supervision during an emergency even though they clearly stated no one would be at the clinic for over 8hrs. They also seem to be one of the more expensive vets in the area.

First time at this vet, open on a Sunday, with appointment available. The vet and staff were very respectful of my cat, and gentle with her. Found them as caring toward senior animals (my cat is over 20 years old) as most other vets are toward the cute and cuddly puppies and kittens? The staff at my old vet have been getting worse and worse, to the point my cat could hardly walk for 2 weeks after the last visit from being man handled and I ended up in the hospital from being bitten. This vet and staff listened to me about how painful her back legs are, how badly she responds to blood work, and how much calmer she is if we stay with her. This visit was the first time in about 2 years I haven't been stressed out coming out of the vet's office! They did show us products (food, supp.) that are specific to her conditions, that we were not aware were available for her, and would make her more comfortable at her age. But we did not feel they were being pushed at us! Bill was very reasonable.

I have been taking my pets to this clinic for years and I am very happy with the care my animals have received. Over the years I have seen a number of vets here and I have no complaints about any of them. Everyone I have dealt with has been kind, friendly, honest, and during the hard times, compassionate. I recommend this clinic to everyone! Dr Wilde in particular has been a wonderful vet. She has taken great care of my pets over the years and while she has been busy away from the clinic taking care of her little ones she has filled the clinic with other lovely competent vets. We miss her when we go into the clinic now but the level of care we receive has not suffered.

I have just recently gone though a very hard time with my bunny, who was diagnosed with GI stasis and took nearly 8 weeks to recover, despite being 'promoted' to more aggressive treatment after a week of not responding to the standard methods. After almost 8 weeks of round-the-clock syringe feedings and countless medications, she is better. I can confidently day that if it were not for the dedication of Dr. Petra Warnock, my little bunny would not be here today. She even took her home to monitor her the first night, and woke up every few hours to feed her and give her Sub-Q fluids! I am amazed that she was willing to do that for my bunny (they truly treat them as if they are their own little fur children!). The staff was wonderful at always fitting us in and making sure all of my (many) phone calls and questions were answered. I cannot thank them enough. They went way above and beyond. And for those hung up on price: every cent I spent was well worth it. They saved my bunny's life!

The staff is friendly and the vets seem knowledgeable. However, the front desk staff doesn’t appear to be in any hurry to serve you. I also feel like the cost of services and prescriptions is high. I have to wonder just what portion of my treatment fee goes towards paying for the free fresh ground Starbucks coffee and other refreshments as well as their renovated waiting area. It may be just perception, but their fees seemed more reasonable before they renovated their waiting area. I decided not to have them fill my dog’s prescription as I could get it filled elsewhere for significantly lower cost. Although they had already prescribed the required medication, they charged me an $8 to write it on a piece of paper so that I could get it filled elsewhere. They charged me this fee on top of the $380 bill I was paying at the time for treatment they had just provided. I will be going elsewhere for my vet services.

I have looked all over at prices of veterinary care in Edmonton and St Albert and Tudor Glen is no more expensive then anyone else. At the recommendation of one of my friends, I took my dog in for care when he tore out a nail. I had nothing but great care and everyone seemed to care very much about him. I have read through all of the reviews and have to say that my experience here was very good. I will continue to use this clinic.

I recently adopted a cat from Tudor Glen. He had been on the streets and someone brought him in during the first big cold spell. They nursed him back to health. While getting him I learned they had several cats for adoption that were rescued during the cold. They even have a clinic cat that was frozen to the road when they got her. Dr. Wilde had to remove a leg and her tail but they pulled her through. I was very impressed that they would do this for these cats, especially since no one was paying for it. I think they truly love pets, like their logo says.

I would never take any animal to this clinic. I had three separate cases where my animals came out worse than they went in. Tammy Wilde is NOT someone I would ever recommend. All they seem to care about is how much money they can make off you. IMO Tammy takes on cases that are way out of her expertise and the animals are the ones to pay the price. How they keep saying they are rated number one in St Albert is beyond my comprehension.

The care here is reasonably good. Your pet is well taken care of and I do believe that the folks here do care about animals.
That said, they are like every other vet clinic. Animal medicine is a "for profit" industry. They will overcharge and oversell whenever they can. (A little taste of what our American friends go through for human care!)
Do your research. Comparison shop. If you don't like the price you pay there for medication (and you may not) then get your care there and the meds somewhere else.

I went to bring my dog to have her ear checked. While I was there I asked if they could 'trim' her nails. They took her to the back, and I heard her yelp. So I opened the back door of the room & saw her pinned on the table with a muzzle on. She was freaked out. Before this I never had a problem trimming her nails. When the vet tech brought her out I asked what that was all about. In frony of everyone in the office she said ' your dog bit me in the groin area'. I was shocked at first as she is not aggressive. I took her home & later that day her nail started to bleed. I looked & they had cut it alomst to the ball of her paw!(I could not stop the bleeding with corn starch) I called the Emergency vet for advice. She was in alot of pain. I went back & spoke with someone. They brushed it off like "oh it's not that bad!' They offered me a bag of dog food for compensation. No pain meds either. I have pictures, it was almost an amputation. I will never go back there again.

Could not believe how rude the vet was. They say Vets Love Pets but it truly should read Vets Love Money. If you like assembly line offices you will like them. If you Truly care about your animal do your research and ask or demand answers.I felt so guilty that I could have put my animals in harms way by trusting this facility.!!!Flashy webpages and free refreshments do Not make up for quality vet care!!!!

Nothing compares to the knowledge, care and compassion this clinic has provided for my pets. Be it a routine vaccination, or something serious, I have trusted this clinic to take care of my pets needs, and the results have been outstanding. Every step is clearly discussed with you, any options available, and they go far beyond expectation with their genuine care and concern for all my pets. They love animals, and it shows when they handle them and talk to them. It is a comfortable place to be, and I am thankful that there is such a wonderful clinic to bring my animals to.

This vet was recommended to me when I moved to St. Albert, and they were helpful on a couple of occasions. Nothing extraordinary, but helpful. The last time I was there, I just needed blood run on one of my dogs. This dog hadn't been to their clinic before, but I knew she wasn't well, and just wanted to check her levels. Once they took her in the back room (which was unnecessary, in any case), they came back out to tell me they couldn't run blood without an exam. I told them to go ahead and do one, but was told that they didn't have time (even though I'd made an appointment a couple of days before). Long story short, it was pretty clear that they were more concerned about the money for the exam, than about the welfare of their patient (who they had still not brought back out to me). I was left with nothing to do but demand they immediately give me back my dog, and have never been back.

I've been bringing my dogs there for about 3 years now. The staff is friendly and professional. Tammy is our vet and I've found her to be very knowledgeable and professional. I've had my one dog in for surgery twice and both times he's come through wonderfully. Considering that he's a 13 year old golden, that's saying something.

Dr. Tammy Wilde is an apparition. In the three times I brought my dog into see her I never once met her, even when I insisted on speaking to her in person! I wonder if she was even in the office. Instead I spoke to a man doing renovations in her clinic. Our dog went into their office fine and healthy for a neutering and came out limping terribly. I brought him back for x-rays and was told he was fine (by an assistant, the vet still wouldn't talk to me). He wasn't fine. New x-rays by another vet showed he had a fracture. I still couldn't even tell you what that vet looks like and two letters sent registered mail requesting the return of the exorbitant funds I paid her be returned went unfulfilled. Absolutely the poorest service I have ever witnessed in a vet. Her lack of care and professionalism was shocking.

Went to see Dr. Tammy Wilde after my first vet refused to x-ray my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's chest at the age of 7 years. Dr. Wilde, like many vets, wasn't aware of the high death rate in this breed due to enlargement of the heart, but she did the x-ray as requested and found a significantly enlarged heart and started treatment right away. She then made sure to find out more about the breed, and consulted with a vet cardiologist to make sure her treatment knowledge remained up to date. Our dog lived for another 3 years, and she keeps a close eye on our other Cavalier, who is now almost 12 years old and healthy - very rare in this breed. She never minimizes our concerns, is punctual, and remembers who our pets are. Her staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They keep in touch with us and send reminders when it's time for an annual exam. I'm so glad we found her.
