The doctors are ok. However, they rip you off. I once took my chihuahua in bc he kept scratching his mouth. The vet looked in his mouth, (no check-up) found nothing and charged me for the visit. When I got home, I took another look and removed a piece of plastic stuck on his back molar. Another time, he charged me $60 for a shampoo which I later found on Amazon (sold by manufacturer) for $20. Two weeks ago I took my chi in for allergies. He prescribed Benadryl and said that if it did not work to come back in two weeks for a shot. I go in today and he wants to charge me for the visit in addition to the shot. I got a copy of my records and left. They just want to take as much money as they can

Watch out for your purse. The additional fees required when using a Friends Of Animals coupon is through the roof and not dicussed until you're they're and ready for the surgery. I was so totally appalled by the extraordinary amount of additional money required for things like sutures, miscellaneous expenses, etc. etc. that I brought my dog home UNSPAYED.

Our cat had a reaccurent issue our cat which almost cost her, her life. The Vet had said to bring her right in if this condition got worse. When I called Valley they told both me and my wife on seperate phone calls that they couldn't see her for over a week dispitethe vets orders to bring her right in if things got worse. We wound up at another hospital that day that understood the urgency of the situation, our cat had to do an overnight stay there severley dehidrated and near death due to her condition. Valley knew this and told us "soory we're booked solid for the next week". The vet we went to even called Valley to transfer her records and to inquire as to why they wouldn't see her at 11AM in the midst of a severe emergency. Again their office staff reiterated they were booked for the next week. They just don't care. After writing a letter to Valley to tell him about what happened he directly we wrote back, "It's clear your not happy, best of luck, please do not contact me again".

May be the right vet for routine visits and minor problems, but definitely not knowledgeable in more complicated diseases such as cancer, diabetes, etc Also seems distant and unsympathetic at times.

In a pinch, ie, I have to board my pets and I can't get an appt with my regular vet, I go here. Pretty cheap. Not good for complicated stuff.

Valley Brook is a wonderful hospital for your pet. Dr. Riskin is truly the best, so knowledgeable and caring. I will never go anywhere else with my pets.
