This clinic is the absolute best. I have only had my puppy since the end of September. The Drs' nurses and Vet Techs are the best in the business. They have taken extremely good care of my little boy. No matter how many questions I have or whatever my concern I have peace of mind whenever I have to take him to a Dr.

What a wonderful place. Sadly, the first experience was putting down our 17 plus year old dog Lady. We were devastated with her sudden decline and were new to the area. They were able to accommodate us as an emergency. They were so very kind and sensitive and cared for us so beautifully as we said goodbye to our wonderful dog. The vet, vet tech and office staff were the kindest women and incredibly professional and compassionate. I highly recommend this clinic. We will be taking our other dogs for their wellness care from this point forward.

They gave my Shih Tzu the best of care from puppy hood. When he became ill they did all they could for him. When the time came to let him go,they where very comforting toward me and Panda. I will use them again. They are the best. Jerry. Hamilton.

A number of years ago they provided solid care for reasonable prices. Over time they make more calls for vaccinations before they are actually due and follow up blood work with no explanation. They have ridiculous prices for medications on top of a 15$ "dispensing" fee. If you have a pet needing ongoing medication, you'd be better off requesting the prescription and filling it at an online pet pharmacy. Dr.Longridge is the saving grace of this practice. He is down to earth, knowledgeable and skilled and takes the time to give you real answers. Today we had a cyst lanced with another Vet who did not introduce herself, explain and apologize for our half and hour wait and did a 10 second inspection of the lump asking us no questions about our dog's health or examining her in any way. We were charged 75$ for this "exam". They said its a standard charge. A small tube of cream - $40! There is no way lancing and squeezing a cyst should have come to 200$! We are looking for a new vet.

I have been coming to this clinic since 1989 with cats and dogs. The staff are kind, caring, and patient. The costs can seem high, until I check in with friends who use other vets. They constantly upgrade their premises and the service is consistent.

Clappison's is truly staffed by Angels.I have been taking my furry babies there for over 20 years.They are compassionate,caring,patient,knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile.I've had good times and they've cried with me through the bad times.They've seen me through cancers,kidney disease,paralysis,and old age and everything inbetween,they are now coaching me through hyperthyroidism and diabetes with my Jewel.They never get upset when I call 4Xa day with questions.I've known Dr.Hamilton for over 15yrs and I value his opinion and trust him completely, he's wonderful,Dr.Williams saved my Sady's life.Dr.Martin,Longridge and Merry are also top notch wonderful Dr's.The dr's colaborate together to give the best possible care,the ladies up front and in the back are very special to my heart.Wonderful people.They treat you like family.This clinic is the best by far and I love them all. Go to Clappisons, you'll wonder how you managed without them.I would be lost if not for them.

I really love this clinic. When you walk into the door you always see the same faces and all of the ladies are happy to help you and your wee pet. I've know ally and Mel for many years now and i consider them good friends. Ally has sat on the floor with me holding my hand when it was my baby girls time to go. Christine is fantastic, she is such a sweetheart. Dr Hamilton and dr longridge are two of the finest vets I have known. I'm smitten with this clinic and would not dream of going elsewhere. Girls have delivered medication and food to me when I could not get there, there have been offers to stay late to see my animals and years shed with me at my side when I've said my final good byes.

I took my 7 month old puppy to Clappison’s to be neutered. My puppy was at Clappison’s for over 28 hours because neutering at Clappison’s includes a 12 hour, unsupervised overnight stay (I did not know the overnight stay was unsupervised). When I picked up my puppy, I had to coax him out of his crate because he was extremely upset, he reeked of urine from head to toe, and I later learned that he had not eaten or drank any water during his 28 hour stay at Clappison’s. My puppy’s neutering incision got infected and I had to have it treated by another veterinarian at another clinic.

What a great clinic! The entire staff was so friendly, from the call to make an appointment, to the seeing the vet and assistant. I felt like part of the staff. My dog maxwell loved his first visit. Thanks for all the kindness.

My first experience with this clinic was last August - about a week before my 12 year old dog passed away. I had Dr. Longridge - he took the time to explain what my dog was going through as well as the options and when my dog passed away the staff were very supportive. May 2010 I got a new dog. The first appt was to get her shots and I had Dr. Merry. I wasn't happy with her - she did the physical examination in the back room and never provided me with the information. She rushed me out of the office and I never got all my questions answered. I ended up calling to inform them I was not satisfied and my husband brought her back to finish he physical exam. Yesterday we went in on an emerg call and I can only assume I had Dr. Martin - as she didn't introduce herself or even make eye contact. Poor bedside manner. Both 2010 visits left me with the feeling it is about making money - not about the care of animals. They add on items without letting you know costs upfront.

my dogs have been treated here for many many years. In other vets, the services were so so.At clappison's the service is the best.their care and treatment of the sick and dying pets is above reproach, Of which I have lost two senior dogs one last year and one this year.Over the years all of my dogs were treated with respect and care that many human doctors could learn from. We have been taking our cats to this clinic for over 7 years. They are now older cats, and require a great deal of care. We have always found the care & follow-up exceptional at this clinic. The vets are very caring. knowledge and professional. They are very good at explaining what needs to be done and any alternatives. The vet techs are wonderful and the cats love them. When one of the cats had to spend 2 weeks at the clinic after surgery, they took terrific care of him and were very accommodating of regular visits from us.
