I had been bringing my 4 pets for years here. The vet I saw left and the new vet Kari Walsh saw my dog and when Dr. Walsh gave her an injection my dog became lame. When I complained they banned me leaving my dog in pain and refusing to see her and/or prescribe any medicine. They are no longer American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited. Do NOT take your pet here!

We LOVE Dr. Kramer. We moved down to the south bay and still drive the 2 hours to take our dogs to her. She is wonderful!

I had given this animal hospital high ratings in the past but now it is different. Dr Aaron does not work there anymore and she was the best. When I called the staff was rude and said Dr. Aaron does not work here anymore. I was shocked and wondered why we were not notified. I was told that Dr Walsh was "like" Dr Aaaron by the person answering the phone. I brought my dog for a well exam to WALSH and my dog came out with an injury. When I complained I was told not to bring my pets there via email and my pets medical records were mailed to me. Prior to me finding this out I called to find out what to do about the injury and they did not call me back. Walsh has only had her license since June 2011. She has no person skills at all. They state they care but it does not seem so. For the well exam it cost almost $90 and they took all of my pets record off of the pet portal. My dog got her medication through there and now I do not know when they are due.

The office staff is rude. The Dr is very nice but misdiagnosed my dog after $600 in tests. When we called two weeks later to find out why our dog was getting worse they offered to redo the tests , of couse for another $600.00 and charge again for office visit. My happy pup was put on so much wrong meds, his behavior went from lively to statue like. He lost his vision within two weeks. Thought my dog was dying and in pain and prepared myself to put him down when i took him to another vet. Saw another local vet who took him off meds and now he is a happy pup again. This vet by the way was able to diagnos problem for under $100.00. As for the blindness other vet referred us to opthamologist. Pups blindness can be reversed with steroid. This vet put my pup and I though torture. Found out other neighbors and friends have had terrible experience with this vet also.

My puppy came up lame and was treated at Santa Clarita Animal Hospital. My dog is now 4 years old and has not had one problem with the leg that needed surgery when she was a puppy. Thankfully the vets at Santa Clarita Animal Hospital are AWESOME!!

my puppy was given to Dr. Burkhartsmeyer to be treated for Parvo. After two and a half days with Dr. Burkhartmeyer my puppy had gotten worst. We asked why he didnt give our puppy the plasma he promised the day before, he replied that it was too late and the office was closing for the night. So my puppy had to continue enduring another night of vomitting and diarrhea. We then asked why he didnt give the plasma transfusion this morning and he said that he was waiting for us to give permission even though we had already given the permission the day before when it was said that the transfusion would happen. He then told us if we didnt like it then we can take our puppy now. After we had spent over $2000 for four days of treatment Dr. Burkhartsmeyer turned his back on us and asked us to leave with our sick puppy. We then had no choice but to take him to another Vet to have him euthanize because he had suffered too much.
