Click to report rating    7/20/18   5     4     5     5   They are amazing and caring, and it's not a money grab like some vets. They actually care about the cats and have even been following up since the appointment to make sure my cat is doing okay. RID: 66515
Click to report rating    11/4/14   5     5     5     5   I have been taking my cats to see Dr Cheung for almost 5 years. She is compassionate, attentive and a fantastic vet. I always feel like my girls are in the best hands. I have also had the pleasure of meeting her locum vet and was impressed with her as well. I appreciate the fact that Dr Cheung has an expertise in cats and a special love for them as well. And my girls and I never have to be nervous about running into a dog! The staff at Central Cat go above and beyond...follow up calls, lots of care and concern. I will continue to highly recommend Dr Cheung, Central Cat Hospital and the Cat Hotel (which is also awesome!). RID: 54453

10/22/14   5     5     5     5   I have 3 cats which I take there plus my family has been taking their cats there for years. The staff are always amazing and It is a great comfort to me to know that they truly care about both myself and my cats. I know when I take all my fur babies there they are in the best hands!      7/28/14   1     2     3     1   My cats mean the world to me and I would do almost anything for them, but when faced with a complicated situation involving one of them, Dr. Cheung was lacking compassion and tact. She was very judgmental and made me incredibly uncomfortable, also insinuating that I was an idiot or didn't care for my cat properly. I have as much education and love for animals as she does, yet I felt she looked down her nose at me during one of the most difficult times in my life. She pushed me to make a decision with which I was not comfortable and I will regret it for the rest of my life. She obviously cares a lot about her patients, but not the humans that go along with them. We will never use this clinic again. RID: 52780
10/29/13   1     1     1     1   This veterinarian tried to charge me $1300 for a procedure that cost another vet $300 dollars to do. The lead doctor was not accommodating and told me that if I did not pay the full amount to treat my cat, either they would have to take her or they would call the humane society to take her away from me for not caring for her. In the end my cat is now safe at home with thanks to the other vet. I would not recommend this facility as it is extremely overpriced and is not centred around the well being of the cats that come in but for the cash they can get from the owners when they are put in vulnerable situations. Click to report rating    10/4/13   5     5     5     5   I lived in London, Ontario for a few years, and decided to take my cats to this vet based purely on location convenience. I was pleasantly surprised to find a warm, friendly, inviting environment. It is obvious that the staff all really care about your pet, and the two doctors that I saw over the years were very knowledgable. One of my cats had an ongoing eye issue, and Dr.Cheung was great at checking up on him to see how the different medications were going. I was extremely impressed when, after a few months of trying different things, she called because another cat she was treating for a similar issue had been treated successfully on a medication we had not yet tried. I was amazed that with all of her other patients, she had thought of my cat. Great vet, great practice; if I ever move back to London I know where I'm going. RID: 47409
Click to report rating    7/18/13   5     5     4     4   They're not the cheapest in town, but they don't really try to upsell you or guilt you into over-the-top treatments. They'll make you aware of alternatives and their costs, no more. Dr. Cheung has excellent instincts and I've repeatedly seen her treat animals successfully even without a ton of information to go on. The staff are caring and knowledgeable. RID: 45671
Click to report rating    7/9/11   1     4     4     4   Had excellent experience with most staff and fill-in Dr. Kennedy. But the BOSS, Dr. Cheung refusal (with attitude) to honor the quotes (although verbal) made by her staff had me wonder her business ethics and ethics in general. RID: 26112
Click to report rating    1/19/11   5     5     5     5   Dr. Cheung is truly the most compassionate and dedicated cat vet I have met. She cares for my cat as if it were her own. She has a way with cats that other vets do not seem to get. She is also one of the only vets that I know who routinely checks her patients after hours if in hospital. I am glad there are still some truly caring vets like her left! A true James Herriott RID: 22201
